Does anyone know if med schools generally offer interview invites less than a week before the interview date?

some definitely do! it depends on each school tho and whether or not there are cancellations (im not sure about geisel)

I interviewed in January but have not received an admissions decision and have a couple of questions:

1) Does this usually mean WL? That's what the trend seemed like last year
2) Should I go ahead an complete the financial aid application? I was holding off on the IDOC documents but I want everything in before the April 1st priority deadline in the case that I am able to attend

Tbh, I think you should just do it, since you're still in the running for a seat.

does anyone know if a medical school has ever given interview invites the day before the interview? Looking at admit.org, it seems like they're sending Rs/IIs to people who submitted later than me and I'm just dying to hear back

for anyone that sent a post-II LOI, did you upload it to the portal or email directly to admissions? I can't remember what they said they preferred 😅

I would do both, upload to portal so the admissions committee can review it with your file. But also send a copy via email to admissions so your name gets visibility.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any advice - I am on the waitlist for Geisel, and I am planning on writing a letter of interest to the admissions committee to demonstrate my strong interest in this program (it's in the top 2 for me right now). I know that they send out acceptances from the waitlist starting in May, but I am wondering if anyone (probably a current student) knows when the admissions committee meets to discuss waitlist acceptances. I'd like for my letter of interest to be in before they review me again, but I will not be able to visit the school in person until later this month and I was hoping to write it after I visit so that I can better express my interest in the school, since I've never seen it before. In other words, will writing it last week of April be too late, or do they not start re-reviewing applicants until May? Thanks!

Financial aid award letter was received, unsure how to feel about it. Anyone else have any thoughts on the schools need based policies?

Could you elaborate more on your situation? I want to apply to Dartmouth in the future but finaid is a big factor for me
