2024-2025 Hackensack Meridian

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does anyone know if waitlists generally pick up around May 15 or what the trend is for most schools? Or if you know something specific to HMSOM too.
From what I know, the most movement happens last few days of April into the first 1-2 weeks of may. It seems from this forum that a lot of people have gotten off the WL in the last 2 weeks or so already. I’m completely guessing but I’d imagine there are still more to come in the next week or 2. After that, there will probably be minimal movement with a couple applicants getting off here and there.

So if my current job offered me a letter of recommendation that I didn't originally upload, is it worth adding it now?

First post here, really anxious. This is my top choice school and I'm begging for some waitlist movement post interview.

I'm forgetting the exact numbers, but I saw during a tour that the school offers admission to something like 85-90% of the people they interview since they're more selective with who they interview. I'm holding onto that statistic for dear life, lol.

Anyone have advice on how not to lose my mind in the interim? 😅

If I knew I'd tell you 😆. Same boat....just trying to stay hopeful

THIS.

Yeah, that stat coupled with a good interview I was like ‘oh bet I’m so set’ and Hackensack is my top. Sitting on the waitlist since early January and I am going bananananas.

If you google HMSOM databook, they released their 2023 stats. 653 interviewed, 543 acceptances issued. So a little over 80%, which yea that’s really high.

Has anyone who was accepted off the waitlist early May received a financial aid package yet?

Has anyone accepted off WL or just at all, received information about immunization/physical. In the portal, they are not on the pre-matriculation checklist but I saw something about needing them in an email (just nothing about by when).

I know one person who got off the WL Tuesday that’s it though 🙁

I got accepted back in January and don't have any info yet. Someone in the groupme called and the school said we can expect more info within the next couple of weeks

Looks like the new commit to enroll deadline this year is June 7th, in case anybody was wondering.
