I sent an update letter 3 weeks ago, an email asking for an update/asking when I can expect to hear back 2 weeks ago (its been 15 weeks for me), and an email thanking them for the tour I went on this past weekend. All with no response. We'll see what happens i guess
 
OOS WL. October interview. Do we know if Hackensack accepts letters of intent? In the portal I only see a letter of interest option, idk if I should upload a letter of intent there or keep it strictly interest
 
I sent a loi to the admissions email about 3 weeks after my Oct interview. Is it appropriate to send another with more academic updates + a request for an application update later this week if I don't hear anything still? Or is it a bit much?

Fellow Oct interviewee in the nothing zone. I sent an update in Dec and just panic sent an interest letter today seeing a lot come out so we will see lol

I also interviewed in Oct and sent a letter of interest on 1/21, but I still haven't heard back from them. I'm thinking I got waitlisted, but I didn't receive an email either

I had my interview today, I was wondering if I should send a thank you email to the [email protected] or should I look for my interviewer's email specifically? My other two interviews pretty much directed me where to send thank yous to so I'm not sure 💀

Interviewed in October. I called because I wasn't sure if it was was supposed to schedule a 2nd interview since I hadn't heard back yet LOL. They told me at this point my application is in review, so basically just waiting on a decision? Then said they send decisions every 2 weeks. Not sure exactly how to interpret what they said tbh. Im guessing at this point im waitlisted

send it to the som interviews email and theyll forward it to the interviewer and upload it to your portal.

Every two weeks would be this week... Are my fellow October folk reaching out to admissions or just waiting?
 
For people who have already attended the live Q&A sessions, was it something you needed to have your camera on for and be in a quiet space where you can ask questions? I have work during the available sessions and i'm hoping I could have the zoom on and listen in while I do admin work but I don't want it to look bad if its a smaller group and i'm the only one with my camera off/not asking questions.

The one I went to had somewhere between 25-40 people and everyone had their camera on and was attentive but the actual session itself was very chill and the med students insisted it was very casual/informal so you could probably get away with just passively listening for sure
 
Any A recently? Or updates from any fellow October interviewees regarding status if you have emailed or called? This was my only interview and I need to grasp onto any straws of hope since I've been in radio silence since October 24 🙏 I just want to go to Hackensack 😿

(Im an October interviewee) I called a few days ago. They said there is no time frame. They said we could hear back "any day now", but we could also not hear back until May/June. I said since its been so long since my interview, I was wondering if there is a decision in my file and they just haven't released it yet, or if I am truly just waiting for review. They said there is no decision made yet and that my file is still in review (idk if thats a lie or not. Im sure they can't tell us about our status unofficially like that), but at the very least I can provide hope in that it appears that if you interviewed in October and haven't heard back, don't assume ur waitlisted/rejected. It seems as though if you haven't heard back yet then no decision has been made. Also, based on the every 2 weeks thing, i feel like we'll see some As this week. Maybe.

May/June?! I really hope that isn't the case...
