more people are offered admission then ones who are matriculated. Not everyone will accept the offer of admission to med schools, which they know, so they offer a little bit more (sometimes 50% more) to ensure they fill their class size.
i submitted on 7/31 and am in the same boat. i called and they verified my letters of rec over the phone and said they would be reviewing my prereqs in the next few days

No. I wouldn't worry about it until early October. They're slower at Hackensack and their cycle runs later.
Interview is going to be virtual, 30m. They also ask you to attend a virtual "admissions day" which is a full day info session over zoom.

I took this to mean they're ready to review your app in its entirety for an interview and the preliminary review they did was just to make sure you have everything, though I guess that didn't include checking to make sure your SJT scores are in.

Not necessarily. They’ll call you to schedule your interview over the phone. You can choose any day that works for you, including the same day as the Admissions events.

Thank you so much! OMG not sure how I missed that. I see on my email when I submitted on 7/31/24. Should I email the admission and let them know as I will take today and finish it or just take it. Should I supposed to take within 14 days of Casper, but I took Casper while back, would it affect not getting interview invite at all. I just saw it take only 24 hours for them to receive it.

Hmmm. Not sure how the admissions process works. Once you take it, they will presumably receive it automatically and put your app in the queue for review. It couldn't hurt to let them know that you've completed it IMO.

i think it goes to every school on the distribution list, but if it's not a part of the school's evaluative tools, then they won't look at it
