Don't think so. Harvard's non-rolling.Does date an interview was received indicate internal "ranking" of students?
Is it ever?Is Harvard over?
Is in the portalDoes anybody know how Harvard takes letters of intent? Do I upload it as an update or email?
super welcoming and conversational! Really chill, don't worry about it. Just know your application and be able to show your passion 🙂Hello everyone, was wondering if anyone can give me some advice for my pathways interview i have on monday. were they welcoming/conversational or more of assigned questions type of deal. is it a complete application reveal or some things are blind?
It's Harvard, everyone wants to go to Harvard. LOI's unfortunately don't mean much. You can/should send update letters though if you have a substantial updateDoes HMS like LOIs, or is that the sort of thing that should wait until after decisions come out?
Yea I think I remember there upload area saying there isn’t a guarantee the letters are even readIt's Harvard, everyone wants to go to Harvard. LOI's unfortunately don't mean much. You can/should send update letters though if you have a substantial update
March 1st i think is what they said during orientationFor people who are just waiting on interview decisions.... do you guys know when/which specific date will we get notified of our destiny?
On MSAR (which I know is probably not to be trusted over the official word of the admissions committee), it said March 3rd? I was going with that!i thought they had historically done first friday in march (which would be march 7th this year)
i do hope this is true though - having to wait an extra week would probably shave a year off my life expectancy...
edit: fwiw i wasn't told on my interview day (could be that i'm forgetting) when we could expect decisions

I love when I reveal myself as illiterate in a public forum...WHOOPS I meant March 1st HAHAH
We're all fighting an uphill battle. Team work makes the dream work. 🙂I love when I reveal myself as illiterate in a public forum...WHOOPS I meant March 1st HAHAH
also fyi, msar was wrong for stanford (msar said jan 17th, and it got released jan 15th) so I would trust ur gut based on past trends. so if it was typically on the first friday, then i would assume that date
To be fair, MSAR for Harvard gives an 'earliest' date as 03/01 and 'latest' as 03/31. Agreed that previous trends are likely to be the best indicator/salso fyi, msar was wrong for stanford (msar said jan 17th, and it got released jan 15th) so I would trust ur gut based on past trends. so if it was typically on the first friday, then i would assume that date
A lot of it is luck of the draw, with any school. I've had entirely lovely, and completely off-putting, experiences at more than one school. I didn't perceive anything particularly unusual about interviewing at Harvard (aside from my nerves)I hate to be that guy but did anyone else have a somewhat polarizing interview experience here? My first interviewer was absolutely lovely but the second one was late, hadn't read or even skimmed my application, and left early after making some pretty cutting remarks that felt borderline unprofessional. Pretty bummed as this is a top choice and feel like that interaction will probably do me in - just curious to hear about other folks experiences

Probably less weight at Harvard than most schools, given that it's....HarvardWhat's the take on letters of intent. If I already sent 1 update/interest letter, is it worth sending a separate letter of intent in Feb? Or is that too much
they usually reject all at once in march. i believe in you : )has Harvard sent out a lot of pre-II R's or they do it all at the end? dont know if i should hold onto hope for an interview
i think it is usually the first Friday! fingers crossed. could be march 7th this yearIs March 1st is the decision date?
