I was totally expecting to be caught up in the wave of rejections earlier this week. Is the fact that I wasn't a good sign?

(I'm aware that I'm being really neurotic, but I can't help it. I haven't heard anything from anyone for over a month.)

2025-2026 applicant information session

(Sorry about the late notice.)

On behalf of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, I would like to invite your students to attend our Virtual Information Session on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 4:00 PM ET. We offer a 4 year, fully accredited MD program and are located in New York, approximately 30 miles outside of Manhattan.

This 60-minute webinar will include a presentation on our curriculum and admissions process by Rona Woldenberg, MD, Associate Dean for Admissions, Professor of Radiology. A student panel will also be joining us to answer all of their questions.

For the MMIs on their website it says that we have 2 minutes to prepare and 6 minutes to respond but I remember initially seeing that we have like 2 minutes to prepare and 8 minutes to respond? I can't find that anymore and it isn't clear on the portal - can someone who interviewed recently clarify which is correct? Thanks!

Does anyone know how Hofstra looks at letters of intent? Don't have any major updates to write about but honestly feeling like this school is my top choice and I interviewed back in September. I know decisions will probably be coming in the next week or two so wondering if it is worth it to send a letter to them preemptively

I just interviewed recently and they mentioned they would send an email with info about our interviewers and a survey etc. i haven’t gotten that email yet and was curious to see how long it took others to get that. Also did people send thank u notes to each interviewer or just a general one? Thanks!!
