11/19.....When'd you interview? 1/7 and waiting
I’m wondering the same thing and I interviewed on 12/5.When in the world are they sending out the next round of As?? Dying over here 😭
Based on last year’s thread it looks like a really long wait time ends up in a WL but hopefully not for you guys 🙏 also there was a reported A end of Jan and mid of Feb last year soI’m wondering the same thing and I interviewed on 12/5.
When did you interview? Also I'm sorry to hear that+1 1st tier waitlist

+1+1 IS pre-II R. App complete 7/17
I haven't yet. I have a lot of questionsHas anyone filled out the waitlist survey?
Wdym, why? isn't it straightforward? Or are you questioning Zucker's intentions behind the survey?I haven't yet. I have a lot of questions
They had this in previous years no?do you guys think that the existence of the survey this year implies that there will be waitlist movement?
i understand the intentions, but wondering how much other people are planning to write, how much stock they really put in it, and if this is even worth thinking about as someone on the 2nd tier waitlist🙂Wdym, why? isn't it straightforward? Also on 2nd tier waitlist and I had this exact thought while doing the survey too. I was looking through previous years threads for Hofstra and historically nobody has gotten off the 2nd tier WL.Yeah I'm not really motivated to write up the survey, also on 2nd tier waitlist. It honestly seems like a time sink. There was hardly any waitlist movement last year.
Are you gonna do it? I cant decideAlso on 2nd tier waitlist and I had this exact thought while doing the survey too. I was looking through previous years threads for Hofstra and historically nobody has gotten off the 2nd tier WL.
Like they Waitlisted ppl today fr?I just got placed on the 1st Tier Waitlist. Any idea if in the past people got off the 1st tier waitlist?
Hi! Based on past sdn threads, it looks like some people do get off, no idea how many though. I saw the below the other day too, but I have no idea how accurate it is/how things change year to year. The screenshot is from a reddit post titled "Tier 1 waitlisted; any hope?"I just got placed on the 1st Tier Waitlist. Any idea if in the past people got off the 1st tier waitlist?
Geeze, i hope it goes well!! How’d your interview go, and did a decent amount of your post bacc get in, i know linkage is binding.I interiewd on Feb 11. I am a post bac student so thats why it was through a non trad channel. I am really hoping that there is movement this year.
im a current MS1 and to my knowledge nobody got off either waitlist tier last year for the regular MD, only MD/PhD. each year is different though, last year they just overaccepted by like 7 students because more people enrolled than they anticipatedHi! Out of curiosity, when did you interview? And what day did you get notified that you were waitlisted? Wishing you the best of luck!

yeah you get a pretty standard dedicated period for step 1.Can anyone from current students chime in on how it’s been studying for STEP 1? Do you get dedicated time for that or you have to study in the middle of classes ?
For Hofstra, how important is the interview? I've seen many others say they feel the interview went well with their interviewer saying they would love to see them, yet they were waitlisted 🙁im a current MS1 and to my knowledge nobody got off either waitlist tier last year for the regular MD, only MD/PhD. each year is different though, last year they just overaccepted by like 7 students because more people enrolled than they anticipated
Hello armchairastro! Only 83 students entered the match this year as some took research years, did dual degrees (e.g. MD/PhD), or were OMS students. Therefore the match rate was ~99%.They posted on instagram the match list for this year which had 82 students match. In prior years it has been 90-100+ and I believe the class is a bit more than 100 students. Is this concerning?
Same for me. Did you get a survey? I see other ppl who were WL earlier had on but I didn't see anything about oneIS 1st tier WL
I was waitlisted 3/19 and was able to complete the survey. You should be able to view it on their AMP site under Admissions Decisions > Waitlist Survey.Same for me. Did you get a survey? I see other ppl who were WL earlier had on but I didn't see anything about one

Did you already confirm your place on the waitlist? If so and it's been a day or two, you might want to reach out to admissions (o_o')View attachment 417598
