I haven’t but idk if it’s bc i was a little later on my primary or if they started screening this year. Hopefully some others will shed some light on it
 
Question for the broader audience based on the discussion above: Does anyone know if Meharry screens applicants based on any attributes outside of MCAT and GPA? Is it a good sign if someone receives a secondary?
 
Has anyone waived the secondary fee? I got a completed email but the portal still says "awaiting payment"

I'm sorry to hear that; I'm a reapplicant as well.
 
I got my secondary last Friday after a few weeks of waiting, so I'm not exactly sure what their process of secondary sending is. However, I did get my MCAT scores earlier that week, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or if it was just coincidental. I guess just keep being patient for now, I hope everyone who is waiting eventually gets one!

Like a cut off for the MCAT? Dang they shoulda told us before hand could’ve saved some money. I’m so sorry to hear that but I’m sure invites from your other school are just around the corner!

definitely I appreciate that, I’ve recieved 3 other interviews but this was my number one for sure. definitely sad!! but wishing you all in here the best!!

for reference I had a 50X (low MCAT, not about 505) 4.0 postbacc gpa lots of hours and leadership, URM

Dang ur app sounds just like mine, down to even the postbacc grade lol. I guess I should be glad I haven’t gotten a secondary. This was also my top school last year. I retook my mcat & I thought I was solid this year with almost a 505, but ever since affirmative action got repealed, they’ve been trying to get their average stats up. I never thought they’d do a hard cut off, but also not surprised.

received an R but super confused

received secondary invite but did not submit it just yet. Was not sure if there was a deadline but it definitely has not been that long between receiving it and getting the R.
They really said girl nvm 😢

Got secondary after submitting primary on 7/16 LM 64.5 ORM Asian male no ties
 
I received my secondary this morning. Reapplicant. Application verified in AMCAS on 7/31.
 
For those getting Pre-secondary rejection, what was your Casper score?

does Meharry respond to emails? i still have not received a secondary but i got a confirmation email 2 weeks ago.

I received a confirmation on 07/25 but haven't received a secondary. Can you let me know what they say to your email?

I know you didn't ask me but: "Thank you for your interest in Meharry Medical College and for contacting the Office of Admissions & Recruitment. Invitations to complete the secondary application are sent at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. The Committee does not provide a more specific timeline to share. According to our current records, your application is still under review. You will receive a notification from our office as further status updates become available." I received confirmation on 07/01
 
Has anyone gotten an interview invite? I got interviewed by one of the directors, but they ended the interview by saying there would be another interview with the admission Committee members. Are there usually two interviews?
 
Hello!! Quick question in regards to the secondary question about "Application History" - is this referring just to Meharry or to other schools you have applied to?

Yeah this one confused me too, I just put the previous cycles I applied in general.

Do you mean the AMCAS verification or the Meharry "We will send you further updates regarding a supplemental app." email?

I was notified that my Primary was processed on 8/1, and received my Meharry email on 8/12. I hope this answers your question!
