anyone receive the secondary? I know there isn't any essays on it but we still have to pay some fee

Anyone get no secondary but an email about Interprofessional Education?

The secondary was in the primary. At this point, I think we have to wait for an interview. Once they want to interview us, then we pay the secondary fee. Until then, there is nothing to do.

Hi! I have two questions: 1. Do you find the graded curriculum to be challenging here 2. How is the clinical exposures in Philly considering all of the different medical schools in the area?

After the payment, I get this under the Application Status : Awaiting required materials. Go to your Application Materials tab and review missing checklist items.

Even though when I click on materials, there is nothing missing, anyone else have this issue?

wait for a few minutes, my status changed after a bit.
 
anyone here have just 3 of the dark blue boxes in the application status portal instead of 4? i paid fee and have all my documents submitted on aacomas

Yes I have three boxes and it says initial review. Just had my FAP waiver accepted today 7/10
 
Did everyone receive a secondary? I haven't received mine yet, but also just submitted my primary to PCOM last night (was already verified beforehand)

I was complete and verified with PCOM at the end of May.
 
it only asked me for one payment but i received invites to both campuses. is it just one $75 fee?

1. I think you’ll find the med school curriculum challenging no matter where you go, not because the concepts are difficult but because of the pace at which we are expected to learn. However, I do think there are enough components within the grade at PCOM that it’s fair.

2. Great! We rotate with students from other schools in Philly, we do extracurricular events with them, there is plenty of opportunity for exposure regardless of your specific interests.

I'm a current applicant but live in University City and was just wondering where you typically rotate? Are most within Philly or do you travel to the suburbs a lot?
 
Is anyone else having trouble with the portal saying it is awaiting required materials but when you go to the checklist, everything has a check next to it and says received? I had to send in my FAP waiver proof to waive the fee, and the page updated saying that they waived the fee but now it says it's still awaiting materials even though there is nothing to submit.

do not have this issue but i did not have a fee waiver... i feel like that may be it... but that's only if you have all other materials Received

I sent them an email, and hopefully they answer soon. There isn't even an option to pay or do anything else, so I'm not sure what I should do. Thank you for the response!

I’m having this issue too even though I paid the application fee.
 
For PCOM-GA and PCOM-PA I have 3 each;
for South GA, I have 4.

I paid the fee on 07/11 and I'm sure I submitted all application materials thus far through AACOMAS

I emailed them-- they responded promptly!
They were able to double check my materials and said that they will update to "complete and under review"

Mainline is the most in the city but some people do go to the suburbs, or even as far as western, PA, Delaware, and New Jersey. You kind of get a choice and I think it’s nice because plenty of students are able to go live closer to their family during rotations.
