Yes, and I have the “Withdraw after offer” button available, which meant an acceptance according to previous threads
Congrats! When was your interview? I have one scheduled next Friday and they said it takes up to 6 weeks for them to provide a decision, so that's awesome they admitted you this early!

Hi guys, I am just turning in my PCOM application and see on the portal an August 2nd 2024 deadline under application management. Does this mean my application will no longer be considered?

just curious what are people's stats right now if they don't mind sharing for those receiving II's and As?

I don't remember mine saying anything on the portal and AACOMAS has the deadline for the primary listed in Feb, so you should be fine!

I am a bit confused. just paid the $75 payment today but i only have 2 bars? does it take awhile to update?
I also see this "Awaiting your application fee payment. Look for the payment link on this page."

it took a day or two for me to get to 3 bars after paying the fee

How long has everyone stayed at 3 bars for? I know it says 10-15 business days, but I'm just curious if its happened faster or slower for anyone

Mine has been since 8/1 now so definitely taking longer but it does say in the email may take longer at peak times so yup.

Mine just switched to four bars and it took about a month for me to switch from 3 to 4

congrats!! I interview tomorrow, any tips and advice on how the interview went?
how was your interview? any tips or things to look out for
The interview was honestly super chill and conversational. Don't be stressed; they just want to get to know you! I don't really want to say any of the interview questions, but they're traditional ones that all of y'all are 100% prepared for! Good luck with interviews 🙂

I am still at 2 bars. I paid the secondary fee 2 weeks ago. Nothing appears to be missing on my end though ?

Anyone still at 3 bars for the status of app? I have been on 3 for like 2 weeks now.

ive been at 3 bars for about 5 weeks now. i emailed last night to make sure everything was submitted on my end and they told me it was and they are just processing a large volume of applications so it is normal to take this long especially if its only been two weeks for u

how many bars are there on the portal overall?
what does it mean when it says "under review by admissions committee"? how far is that from the last bar? thanks!

Under FAQs for interview info after saying it's a blind interview it says "Also, understand that the Interview Committee does not intend to discuss any specifics with you as to any personal situations you may present."

Does anyone know what this means? Like should I not bring up specifics about stuff that is on my app?

I believe they mean that they don't intend on probing you further about specifics like grades, MCAT, extracurriculars, etc. From what I remember, the questions are very broad and there's a few scenario-based questions as well, so they're more interested in how you respond, rather than investigating your history.

The interview is 100% blind (during mine last year, they knew nothing other than my name). I was never discouraged from discussing past experiences, and you should definitely bring them up if they are relevant and you feel like it will help you answer the question, but it isn't their intention to ask further specifics about them.

Gotcha, thank you so much for this insight!

does anyone know if an MCAT Of 510 would be considered too high for PCOM? My stats were 510 MCAT and 3.76 overall GPA and I applied when it first opened but am still stuck at 4 bars. (In state). Trying to figure out why I haven't been offered an interview--very good EC and application is strong, with a strong commitment to Philly (where I'm from).

Dang! Have you considered applying to MD schools? A 510 MCAT is AMAZING!

i have a 515 and interviewed with them on 08/19. gpa is a 3.6 so that could be why they interviewed me. i’m also oos

Do we need to wait for the processing of our AMCAS FAP before we can submit the secondary application fee for PCOM?

Nah that would not be considered too high. The way they select who to interview is dependent on a lot of factors, but I would still hold on to hope. I had an MCAT very close to your score and I received my II in October
