is there anyone who interviewed in september/early october who are still waiting to hear back?

How did you guys feel about your interviews? I felt like one of mine went very well, but the other person asked about things that seemed irrelevant and I didn't get a chance to really connect.
sorry to hear that 🙁( In all likelihood you are overthinking it though!! I am sure it went really well regardless - maybe they were looking for something specific in the second interview 🙂

Another WL notification for ya boi 🤔
Well, there are two old adages:

"Interviews three, a doctor you'll be"

and

"Waitlists three, a doctor you'll be"

Very much hoping the second one pans out here! I would also be shocked if a few of those deferrals didn't turn into an A!

I'm hopeful it will 🙂 I'm keeping my head up and showing continued interest!

Super excited for my interview here in a few weeks. Can anyone direct me to some resources on how the interview is formatted? How are the two 1-1 interviews different from each other? Is one faculty versus student? How do you recommend preparing for the group session? What should I expect? Any info is greatly appreciated. Good luck all! We got this

Supposed to be one faculty one student but if there aren't enough students available you will get two faculty! It's kind of luck of the draw on who you get tbh. You submit some additional essays to them and they are blinded to your app except for those additional essays. Hope this helps!

For those who completed the writing prompts prior to their interview and have had a gap year:

How did you approach the gap year prompt? Did you essentially summarize your activities or did you focus on one activity?

I pretty much copy and pasted the gap year essay I used for secondaries!

Does anyone know if its ok to take notes during the group ethical scenario or if I should keep paper/pen with me?

As @impetuskrampetus pointed out, it isn't necessary! Just contribute to the discussion 3 or 4 times and you'll be perfectly fine. Be polite, acknowledge someone else's point, and don't talk over anyone.

Everyone gets to participate! People are generally very respectful of each other

this is a stupid question but for one of the "most significant non-academic experiences," it's fine to just write about my gap year job in greater detail than i do in the "most meaningful gap year(s) or other post college experience" question? just copying these from my primary app
