Congrats! That's awesome. Did you receive the invite today?November and OOS
Not sure if this helps but according to admit.org their post II acceptance rate is 63%does Rush send out a lot of post-II R's? Is that something to be worried about?
I'm in the same boat, sent updates/continued interest in december. Fingers crossed for us all!Rush still sending II? Haven't heard anything even after update letter + Letter of Interest.
Congratulations! 19 II is so impressive : - )+1 OOS II. Complete 7/26
Thank you thank you. I am very gratefulCongratulations! 19 II is so impressive : - )
It's not mandatory, but you should be able to find the first/last names of your interviewers on the Thalamus interview platform. Thalamus Home Page > Schedule > RMC Recruitment Day. From there, the name(s) should be listed in grey to the right of the green Rush Seal/Anchor Cross under "Rush Medical College Medical School." I believe I went with "Dear Dr. [First Last Name]," but it really is up to you. Hope that helps!Guys, is it mandatory to send thank you letters? If so - I remember the first names of my interviewers but not the last names. Who should I address my letter to?
Who are you all addressing the letter to? Just 'Dear Admissions Committee'?
Thank you!
Thank you! I did that, but sadly I still don't see the names of my interviewers. I'm not sure what I did wrong. It's not mandatory, but you should be able to find the first/last names of your interviewers on the Thalamus interview platform. Oh darn, I'm sorry. Perhaps you can send an email to request your interviewers' names (explaining how you tried to find them through Thalamus). Or perhaps sending a general one?Thank you! I did that, but sadly I still don't see the names of my interviewers. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
i highly doubt they would separate IS from the general applicant pool given that they are a private school with no IS biasdoes this school hold-off on in-state people until last? Any current medical students have any in-sight?
I feel like I always see OOS II in this thread, but it could also be that the majority of IS people don't use SDN.
73.5Wow that’s awesome it’s my complete date too hoping I hear back soon. What was your LM 🙂?
Yes I did! I felt very good about one of my interviews and then honestly thought I bombed the other interview. It felt to me like I completely messed up my "Why Medicine" answer and then was spiraling when he asked the next question and had to ask him to repeat it and fully thought that I screwed up my chances. Got the A though, so goes to show anything can happen haha.Did anyone feel unhappy with how they did on the interview and still received an A?
when did you interview?anyone else struggling with the post interview purgatory here? 🙁
only MD school ive interviewed at so im struggling, bad, with this wait.
I would... I'm thinking of it tooIs it worth emailing the school for updates? I already sent an update letter months ago but don’t have any new updates
