Curious on if your application still says incomplete? I submitted mine and noticed the same thing. Didn’t know if I was missing something or if the university does actually have to mark it complete.

Same here. Don't want to email cause it's only been 36 hrs and they specifically say not to email them throughout the cycle but worried there's something I should be doing but everything else is checkmarked and they're on my casper distribution list and acuity says my scores are sent so I feel I've done everything I'm supposed to. Just hoping I'm not sitting on something and unintentionally delaying my app

Still happening to me. I think someone from their team goes in and checks everything before marking it as complete.
 
This year, both Casper and Duet exams from Acuity Insights are required to complete your application. You can find us by searching “Burnett School of Medicine at TCU”. This was previously incorrect in the Acuity Insight platform, but has been fixed. It had been previously listed as "Texas Christian University, School of Medicine". If you had previously selected that option, your scores will still be transmitted to us. No need to resubmit or make any changes at this time.

Hello Applicants, We are working very hard to review primaries and send out secondary invites. Additionally, we have received many emails inquiring about file completion. If you have completed all necessary steps, you are likely fine. We will get to reviewing and marking files complete ASAP. Thank you all for your patience!
 
Bit neurotic but does anyone else's Casper and Duet score still say incomplete? Just want to make sure that im not alone hehe
 
I’m a little confused by the wording of the empathetic scholars essay.

What does teachability mean as a quality? Is that your ability to teach others or your ability to learn?

If it makes you feel better mine still says casper and duet are incomplete as well and I submitted 6/30. Burnett School of Medicine is on my distribution list and acuity insights shows it as received so I think once they get the chance to look at more primaries and send out more secondaries they'll start manually marking these things off. Correct me if I wrong but think we're all in the same boat with being listed as incomplete rn

Teachability refers to your ability to be taught. Your ability to learn.

I somewhat misinterpreted this in my response as the ability to teach. 🙁
However, I feel my response kind of works both ways as I demonstrate wanting to improve on understanding X, Y, and Z and talk about how I would go about doing that. I'm really sad now because I already submitted my secondary and cannot edit my response. Am I completely screwed? Should I email them? I am really interested in TCU and don't want this to mess everything up.

No, you can’t change an essay after the fact any more than you can do-over an essay test. What’s done is done and you will think more about future secondaries, eh?

Okay thanks. Hopefully they will prioritize overall content rather than focusing on minor misunderstandings. I am good about learning from mistakes, so I will definitely be more cautious with future essays. I appreciate the reminder.
 
Is there a maximum number of letters that is preferred by TCU? I know they recommend 3, but I have 6 letters and I'm not sure if sending all of them is overkill.

We will review a file with as few as one letter. We recommend three, but do not have a specified limit as to how many you can submit.

Is the second prompt a diversity secondary? I'm kinda confused on how to approach and if it asking about experiences not not listed in primary (since it says "add context to your app")

They do take time to carefully read your primary and this means secondaries will be sent out more gradually.
Unlike other Texas schools, they have no in-state preference.

I'm crossing my fingers here, too. Hopefully, I can get down there and take a look at the new campus and the Super Floor once it's open. Dean Flynn has done a great job promoting the expansion in the 'On Site' video series 🙂
 
Only one person so far on this thread got an interview. Wow that is really surprising!
 
dang theyre way ahead this year, last year they didnt even send out Secondaries at this time

Oh, I meant like normally when an interview comes out its not just one person on the thread saying they got an interview. Normally, theres at least another +1 or something. That is why I was really surprised.
