Hi! I'm curious about the financial aid at Tufts Med. I know that it's 100% need-based without merit-based scholarships, but I was hoping to get a better idea of the financial aid offered. If you've received your financial aid package from Tufts Med and you don't mind, could I ask what your financial aid looks like and your family income range to be able to get a better estimate of financial aid? Coming from a low-income student worried about affording medical school, I would really appreciate it! I also had some more general questions.
1. How can I realistically estimate how much financial aid I will receive if any at all? Are there any tools that would give a general estimate using my family's income?
2. I've heard of Tufts Med students receiving full tuition or full COA scholarships at Tufts Med, is this purely based on demonstrated need or what circumstances would result in this?
3. Are there any separate applications or things to submit to be considered for need-based aid/scholarships (outside of FAFSA, CSS)?
Thank you!
