they said they would give everyone a week to respond so i don’t think we’ll get it until wednesday or thursday

Did anyone who used Parchment to send their transcript get a confirmation email that their transcript was delivered to MCG? I have a order confirmation but no delivery confirmation.

Has anyone been told their waitlist quintile?? I nearly had a heart attack thinking I forgot to turn in the form.

When does the Visit Day (March 7th) start? I got the confirmation email but it didn’t have the time on it…
You should have gotten an email with the schedule. I would email if you didn’t! But it starts at 9 am in the Harold Harrison MD Education Commons Building. Feel free to DM me if you have questions!

I ordered mine on 2/25 right after getting the WL notification. Received document delivery confirmation on 3/10. When did you order your transcript?

Does anyone know how long/how many people are on the waitlist?
I want to say about 206.

Assuming initial acceptance is 380.
Total Interview(640) - Initial Acceptance(380) = 260
Say 10% rejected and 10% withdraws. 260 * 0.8 = 206

Then each quintile will have about 41 people. The email said 1 and 2 quintiles often get acceptance so about 82 gets accepted.

I read somewher MCG has yield of 65%. So 380 * 0.65 = 247. They have 57 seats to fill. 57/0.65 = 87 which ends right past 2nd quintile.

Anyone agree or disagree? Feel free to shed some light if you have any additional information.

where are you getting 57 from, and why are you dividing that by the yield number?
Class size(304) - Expected matriculants from the initial acceptance(247) = Remaining Seat

I'm dividing it by the yield because not everyone will commit to MCG even if they were offered a seat from the waitlist. Although you can argue that the yield from the waitlist may be closer to 70-80%
