what email? can you post the wording here?
Hello [my name],

I hope this finds you well. We’re reaching out because the Admissions Committee is requesting any updates or changes to your application that may have occurred in the time since you’ve applied. A few common updates are changes to your AMCAS anticipated experience hours, the addition of new experiences, and academic updates. Updates may be written in any format (narrative, bullet pointed, etc.) and should be uploaded to the Document Upload page of your secondary application portal.

Please reply to this email to let us know whether you will be uploading any updates to your application:

  • I do have updates to provide and I have uploaded that information to my portal.
  • I do not have any updates to provide at this time.
Keep in mind that a prompt reply will provide our office with the most opportunity to consider you for an interview. This message does not guarantee an interview invitation. If you’re no longer interested in MCW, please withdraw your application using the “Status” section of your secondary application portal. Doing so greatly helps the Admissions Committee focus their efforts toward considering applicants who are eagerly awaiting an interview invitation.

We appreciate your response at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your time, and have a great day!

Best,
Office of Admissions
MCW Medical School

Interesting. Have you interviewed? I did not get this email, but I have not gotten an II and also I submitted an update in December.

Hey everyone hope everyone’s cycle has been going well! Does anyone know historically how late MCW sends IIs out until because I received an email around the holidays saying they don’t silently reject and are still evaluating apps if u haven’t heard back but just wondering how true that is haha

I applied last year to them. Around the end of February. Last's SDN shows some of the latest II dates.

I did not receive this! Submitted an update letter the week before Thanksgiving. Last I heard from them was the general update in December!

Does anyone on a regional campus have access to an accepted students group chat? I’m accepted at GB campus and can’t find a link to the chat.

Out of curiosity, when you get an II, how many days do they typically give you to schedule it?

From admissions recruiter: MCW interviews into mid-late March

I also assume 5-7 days but I did see in the 2024 thread that multiple people got iis on 2/29 for an interview on 3/1 and only had a day to prepare. I don't know when MCW's last interview dates are for this cycle, but I am also assuming that this week and MAYBE next week are the last weeks they will send any iis out, and then the R waves come in March.

You think it's worth sending out an update letter at this point?

Yes, there’s a chance. During my ii adcom said depending how late they’re in office they should come Friday or Monday. Best of luck to everyone waiting!

Hello ...,

I’m emailing to give you a brief update on the status of our incoming class and waitlist. Over the next few weeks, we plan to extend a small number of offers to waitlisted applicants. If you have application updates you would like considered in the review process, please upload them to your secondary application portal at your earliest convenience to ensure they are considered.

If you’ve made other plans and are no longer interested in MCW, please contact us to withdraw your application. We appreciate knowing so the Admissions Committee can focus their review on those who are still interested.

We will continue to extend offers until the incoming class is full and will do our best to keep you updated through the remainder of the cycle.

Thanks for your time, and please let us know if you have any questions about the process. We appreciate your time and patience.

Have a great week!

I received this email last week for Central Wisconsin Campus. Anyone else get this?

Dang never got this email for any campus, but I did somehow manage to dodge the rejection waves this month!

Just sent one last update letter. Hope it's enough for this 502 lad to squeak by with a March II 🙏

Ya I’m wondering how many IIs actually go out to people in March that haven’t been waitlisted yet?? I’ve sent updates and have also dodged the rejection waves if there have been big ones but not sure

does anyone think MCW-Milwaukee is also accepting waitlisted candidates over the next couple weeks?

So for the fellow people that haven’t heard back yet, did we survive mass rejections or have there not been many Rs yet and there’ll be a huge one soon?
Idk but I have heard from some people that MCW sometimes schedules last minute interviews. So we could literally hear with less than 48 hours to prep

Would be nice, but if history is any indication, probably won’t know till May based on what I’ve read. I’m WL at MKE too.

I’ve read that MCW accepts around 50 off WL but unsure if that’s in totality across their 3 campuses or for each.

Oh wow I didn’t know that. That’s scary but good to know lol welp I guess all we can do is wait and see

I’m not sure if making it this far is actually a good thing but imma just be delusional and pretend till told otherwise haha
