Day 5

Tony "The Horn" Bellacapra had a reputation that followed him everywhere.

A fence splintered overnight? Tony probably knew somethin' about it. Wheelbarrow turned upside down in the middle of the road? Sounds like Tony. Somebody's prize tomatoes mysteriously vanished? Fuggedaboutit.

Maybe it was all coincidence.
Maybe.

When the accusations started flyin' Tony dug in with everythin' he had. He swore up and down he was just an innocent kid, pleadin' his case like maybe somebody upstairs was still listenin'.

For a while, it looked like the Family might not cast anybody out at all. More than a few goats figured another night to watch, listen, an' think might be worth more den rushin' to judgment. The pasture sat in uneasy silence while every goat weighed whether waitin' was wisdom or just another way to let trouble grow.

In the end, though, da silence broke. One by one, hooves were raised, minds made up, an' Tony's fate was sealed.

The Boss stood quietly as Tony was led away, givin' 'im one last look before sighin'.

"Funny ting about the Family," he muttered. "Sometimes the hardest decision is decidin' ya can't wait no more."

The pasture stayed quiet long after Tony disappeared over the hill. Was dis da end? Was the Family safe at last?

They couldn't shake the feelin' dat dis was only the beginning.

I feel like there's a stronger case on Ms.P than there is on Rae.

But based on the votes right now, it looks like Rae is going over regardless, and given my anti-bussing meta, I'd rather not be off wagon if/when Rae does flip wolf.

Can't convert a wolf if there's no cult. Considering Katie's ability was lowkey kinda useless and all the night actions we get seemed to have failed, it would make sense to put in an ability that basically doesn't do anything.

I've also like, never played a game with a cult that actually converted anyone. If a villager gets converted, will they show up as converted when they flip or do they still flip as a villager?

usually there's a cult chat so converted cultists don't accidentally yeet their leader, and they should show up as a converted cultist when flipped.

Mikey "Kid Chaos" Mancuso never let bein' the smallest goat in the pasture slow 'im down.

If there was a knee to headbutt, a fence to squeeze through, or trouble to stir up, Mikey was already halfway dere before anybody else knew what was happenin'. The older goats liked to roll their eyes an' pretend he was just a nuisance.

Truth was... most of 'em were just tryin' to keep up.

Yesterday had left the Family battered, bruised, an' wonderin' whether dey'd finally turned the corner. For a brief moment, dere was hope dat maybe da worst was behind 'em.

By mornin', dat hope was gone.

The Family found Mikey lyin' alone at the edge of the pasture. Dere were only a few scuffed hoofprints nearby before dey disappeared inta da grass, as though whoever had crossed paths with 'im had come an' gone without leavin' much behind.

The Boss closed 'is eyes for a long moment.

"Dey always go after the ones who still got fight left in 'em," he said quietly.

Nobody argued.

The pasture had grown awfully quiet.
