Specifically, I'd like Kata to start by justifying her vote from today.

Alley's posted spreadsheet has mostly just statements and fluffy commentary and I am not sure if she ever truly caught up? so I can't really use it to read. I feel like she hasn't really tried at all so far.

Similar vibe with pawprints - fair bit of fluff and hedge, though she honestly just feels like a noob.

bloc is a unified group with a common purpose

Because the more neutrals, the more room for hedging. Best case scenario, you find it difficult to commit to compatible packs as a villager (thus leaving yourself more susceptible to pocketing and misyeeting). Worst case scenario, you're a wolf who's "always on the ride side of the coin" no matter who flips what.

Nah, that's the first step towards a village stomp. Hedging/low confidence only useful to wolves from all angles.

Speaking of AM , they way she has been picking fights pings me quite a bit scummy. It looks like the questions she is asking are framed in such a way to make people slip up rather than actually get reads. Some people are saying thats her playstyle but it doesnt look good to me.

it has. i was under the impression that when lupin said april>towny it meant lupin was very sure about it. I think for me its bc im used to people saying "village lean" or "plus village points" for someone, rather than "___ is villager" (which is what i feel lupin posted) when they're not clearing them. lupin got moved back into neutrals

there have been a few comments from people saying im hedgy, overexplainy and echoey.
so at the risk of being overexaplainy, I just am. It's NAI, I'm a very wordy person (#1 feedback on my academic writing)
As for being hedgy, I think it was AM that encouraged I put out not thoughts not yet fully formed/carefully worded to use the hivemind, but if that's gonna get me yotted then i won't
for people who have played with me both as village and as wolf, they've seen that over explaining every word, puttin my foot in my mouth, and having a hard time forming any solid opinion is just normal, i am bad at WW village play.
When i was wolfing (and saying this will make it harder in future games where i'm wolfing but lol) I was MUCH more careful with what I posted. I used the wolfchat to test out posts and got feedback from april and visc about how posts sounded. I don't have that here, so I'm tripping over my words (like i do almost every game I'm village) and it's getting me in hot water.

Yeah, no. That’s not how this works. I think you need to re-evaluate whether I am attempting to contribute despite my busy schedule and need for wine, or whether I am actually a wolf. And if you decide I am actually a wolf, then you need to ask yourself 2 questions:
1) is Shorty wolfing right now? And
2) how did Shorty get to be so gosh darn awful at reading genny, who is like one of the most transparent villagers to ever play this game?

It's mostly just that you can't evaluate it, so you have to throw it out. We all get busy, we all 'use' real life as a reason for why we won't be around (hell, I did it earlier today noting I'd be at work through midnight my time). But the fact is - you have no way to verify it, so you have to ignore it when considering the wolfiness of it. As soon as you let people start using 'real life' as an excuse, you give the wolves another tool to cruise under the radar.

I reread this post so many times because I thought it was somehow a defense of April's salt vote and didn't understand it at all. What I've got from the follow-up discussion is that you disagree with cray's post below pushing Lupin for initially seeing April's vote as villagey, then later suspecting AM salt voters, but you also think Lupin's post about there being a wolf on your vote isn't helpful because most votes at that point were on you, correct? TBH I am still confused about this. Why do you think there's nothing to analyze when looking at who jumped on your salt vote? Even if only one person was voting on someone else, very few people had voted yet, so it's not like "AM's initial wagon" is an unreasonably/unhelpfully large pool of potential wolves.


This might be answered later in posts I haven't read yet, but do you still see April's first post as villagey? Neutral? Wolfy?


Oof. Lurky, wolfy, antivillage villagers including MsP lost basics for village. Continuing to apply pressure to MsP looks like a good plan.

Not giving village points to z for being consistent with his stated pressure vote, though. It would be a very easy way to look like you're wolfhunting without too much effort, and MsP would be an easy misyeet target.

I brought it up again, because shorty was making the assumption that it meant I didn’t think Alissa was sketchy, which wasn’t the case, I did. I brought it up again, not to go after you, just to highlight that while I thought Alissa was sketchy, I didn’t think the vote switch thing was worth getting hung up on.
