Y'ALL

Zenge wasn't doing the wolf howling IRL this game

MAYBE IT IS A WOLF TELL, IT'S JUST THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I EXPECTED.

(for the vets who haven't played with us before, Zenge's my IRL fiance and ngl I'm loving yeeting woof!Zenge)

I am somewhat pleased that you switched there before the grand finale

Oooh this just got interesting. I'm glad you sat on that so long Dina, there's going to be a lot of good content to reanalyze.

True story. Nothing sucks more than a seer shutting down an entire day's worth of debate by outting someone the second they have the info ...

... like I've done before.

Instead, I am going to

yeet Visc

for several reasons.

First of all, because I realized I really didn't have much of feelings towards her at all. Yeah she's been posting enough to be active, but a lot has been kind of commentary or very gentle defense/argument on already hashed out points

Second, I still really didn't like this interaction on d1, and was reminded of it while doing my iso:

and most definitely don't love that the post that was in response to literally said:

which was kinnndd of my vibe lol.

Third, she was the deciding vote pushing to alissa last night - that in by itself is not sketchy. Someone's gotta do it, and the vote didn't come from nowhere; she'd echoed and pointed out sketchy things alissa said earlier in the day, so I'll give credit where credit is due there.

But at that point the vote looked like this:

And with both kata and pleasey kind of potentially sketchy and alissa now confirmed village, a wolfy visc flip could lead to interesting analysis.

There's just a... lot of light defending of other people going on:

Which said in a less nice way, could definitely be pocketing. All in all, I feel at least getting a bit more definitive reads and feedback from her is a good place to start for tonight since Sporty seems to have given up on us and keeping votes on inactive players doesn't get much moving.
I don’t really have any arguments. I haven’t been able to keep up or read more than maaaaybe 50% of posts. I have no idea what’s going on and just react to posts as I see them. My play is bad because it’s bad, not wolfy. I hate to be the ****ty villager screwing over village by being misyeet bait, not to mention making the game less fun for everyone, but real life responsibilities come before the game and I was not prepared for the fastest, most content-heavy game I’ve played. Sorry everyone.

I just want to say thanks everyone for my first woof outing!

You’ve all been great!

Special shout out to @Aprilthearab who called it early on good reads!

Thank you @WildZoo @kaydubs @SARdoghandler for modding! It’s been an amazing game so far and I can’t wait to watch the rest of it.

Okay well I think it’s late enough to spill the beans. I’ve been agonizing over how to approach this since I received my night results and I was hoping to do this in a subtle way that would allow me to stay alive, but between my one village read in my PM group (April) dying and the PM zenge sent me I know this is probably the only way that I can bring a wolf down

Zenge is 100% a wolf. I had suspicions and investigated him last night cycle and he came back wolf. My plan was to get April on my side to help me get him yeeted without me revealing myself, but that plan obviously completely disintegrated. Then after I started questioning zenge on thread he sent me a PM trying to tell me he knew MKG was village because he was a seer (which was a good chuckle for me) clearly trying to pocket me.

I figured he was going to use it as a role reveal tonight if he was up for yeet, which pretty much puts the nail in the coffin for me, because I have to reveal, but that’s okay because at least I can bring a wolf down and hopefully enough discussion has been generated that village can narrow their POEs tomorrow.

I would be looking at people who were hedging on zenge and voting either genny or pleasy because I think they were the counter wagons

I haven’t looked too much into Lupin and Trilt, but I’m worried about Trilt too.

So please yeet zenge. I think we especially need to know his role, and if he does somehow have seering capabilities I think that puts the extra factions as very likely and would honestly change everything.
I kind of wish you'd sat on this and talked to Zen a bit longer. Having a wolf who you know is sketch, can watch the voting patterns and has an open conversation with you is absolutely a rare event and I absolutely would have played along for a bit myself.

I also think mkg is a kind of interesting first night seer for a wolfpack and that makes me want to look at their suspicions a bit more. There had been a non-zero amount of shade in that direction and being an almost totally new player that's not usually the first place people look.

Hard disagree with this. The first wolf flip is super duper useful in analyzing how people interacted with them. Waiting longer just increases the risk of dying with really really vital info.

I assume he was lying about them seering mkg, though. Right? Or did I misunderstand you.

I thought mkg said she was watched.

I know right!?

It's a game with open PMing. Seer another person in your group and dump data. Raise the stakes! lol

You’re going to be laughing a lot less than you think actually... :angelic:
I had the same assumption as LIS.

If you actually are a seer, it's not quite as funny, but still funny because you're a woof.

It's not as huge a risk as it seems. You seer someone in your PM group the next night, clear them as village, and then share your knowledge.

At that point you're golden until one of you dies.

Risks are that you get taken out immediately, or that both you and your confidant get taken out simultaneously, both of which are pretty low.

Does anyone else hear an echo in here?

I didn't want to risk keeping him alive and having villagers yeeted in the mean time especially with multiple night kills

I was also nervous he was on to me because I was acted on last night and I wasn't sure if it was wolfy or not (I'm not going into anymore details). If I had died I didn't want to leave it to chance that zenge would manage to slip through (he's a good player despite this being his first wolf outing)

I had no idea what I would've talked to him about anyways. He was already straight up lying to me in his opening PM and sowing WIFOM with mkg.

I tried to do this with April. I was 90% sure she was village because of her zenge push but she was NK'd. Pawprints has been barely active and I considered AM, but couldn't trust her.

I could've seered her tonight, but like I said I was worried about being NK'd. Maybe if I was sitting on more wolf reads I would've considered it, but this has been the one game where I haven't accumulated loads of sketch by D2, go figure

So after iso'ing Sporty given Zenge being a wolf, I'm gonna accept one of the two:

1) Either Sporty is playing a fine wolf game; or

2) I have to eat my words.

Sporty was fairly consistent about Zenge being top of her list.

For now, I'll go with 2.

contingent lynch Kata (if mods are accepting contingencies)

I am going into my Fri/Sat/Sun of work, so there's a good chance I don't even make minimum post count. As always, I abide the LIS rule and expect nobody to grant me grace for this, but it's still the truth.
