So I just went down this rabbit hole where I remembered that jaboo said she was deciding between me and April to rez due to the hope we would come back with our ability (went back and looked, April was village thief) and then I was thinking that rezzing me and hoping I came back with my ability (weapons expert) would be good for a wolf rezzer that had a chance to bring back a wolf or villager and basically now I just want someone to tell me if that’s a crazy thought or not

You know that you received less money than another vanillager, and have helped verify that there are variable amounts being given out. That doesn't mean that it's not worth theorizing about at all. There is usually some rhyme and reason to game aspects. 😛

A wolf that rezzes villagers is a interesting thought. One I hadn't really thought about.

I was looking back through kata's/your posts and MsP's, and comparing them to the VCAs after I made that post. Then it was 9:59 and pulling my vote off MsP would have made a tie (of MsP and chaos), which I was unwilling to do when I had both you and MsP in my POE.


I mean, okay, but you did the same thing when you were wolfing. It might be NAI, but I can't write it off when you've only wolfed once. That's why I make notes of it.

I actually don’t think I was very reactionary to votes on me. I tried to ignore them because I didn’t want to be suspect. Barks voted for me a couple times and I just pretended they didn’t exist.

Trilt was actually the one to start the money thing, she corrected me upthread for thinking that samac started it. I don't really know about the first aid kit - I wouldn't think from reading the description that it would prevent a yeet, though?

Not for preventing a yeet , two of the wolves were voted out while they were post restricted , If kata had was scum , she could have shared the first aid kit with her team and it would have helped , Especially on the day of alley lynch when we were specifically looking for silenced people

It's an evil mechanic for a single rez in a game, though, lol. And as a wolf, holding onto a rez that has a chance to be a wolf is by far the smarter tactical decision... can claim it's only a short term rez if you're held up against a wall about it mid game, but good village cred and a wolf coming back in end game is so much more powerful than early on re: parity.

I feel the ability was used in a village-y way and you seem to be a villager, so I'm happy keeping her solid original village for now lol.

Once again, Jaboo can confirm this I put out the one wolf in each group theory day 1 in tot chat (if that’s appropriate. I dunno). I said it immediately here and everyone shut me down which is fine, but at this point it’s still not been proven wrong.

Since that stuff is usually RNG'd, it's about as useful a theory for hunting wolves as saying that it's possible any one of us could have randed wolf. If you're right you're about as right as me voting for you purely because it's possible you randed wolf. Get it?

I was clarifying that my original response to Lawpy was that I wouldn’t expect anything less for his contingency vote on me.

But that’s assuming the transfers happen that fast. It takes a full cycle to send money to someone else so why assume you can send an item to someone and they get it immediately?

This is definitely a reasonable thought, but if an item can be used on yourself mid day... at least historically it was usually allowed to be used on others that way, too. Standard disclaimers that it has been several years and I don't know what the current vibes on those sorta things are. Game design goes in waves.

The purchase decisions are just very village, her money values are consistent with a known vanillager now, the vibes feel much better than early game in my opinion.

(2) I haven't been tracking mechanics of nighttime actions/results closely and thought there was at least a slim chance it was useful in figuring things out.

I've always been a believer in putting things into the main thread, as opposed to someone like STL who classically liked to keep as many secrets as possible.

You putting things on thread is very consistent with your meta, but posting four days later about an attack (on a big daddy in the write up, which you've explicitly claimed is not your role lol) is rather weird.

Some games will continue even after the wolves are gone depending on the nature of the set up with 3P and their wincon. In the case the game goes on after the wolves are gone usually the 3P has an exclusive wincon.

This is basically what you could call a multiball set up with multiple factions, sometimes the winner is the only surviving faction.

Or 3P can continue to try to achieve their wincon if they haven't and they don't get voted first.

I do think there’s still at least 1 wolf left with the watcher role and possibly 2 with some double kills but a game going past the wolves dying is something I haven’t thought of before.
