Alpert (Brown)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Their incoming class has usually been majority PLME (8 yr combined BA/MD), EIP (Early Identification Program w/ other Rhode Island colleges), and Post-Bacc linkages with Columbia, Goucher, and I think Bryn Mawr. They have very few spots for standard route admissions through AMCAS, but I think they are trying to open up spots for that avenue in the future.

I'm a first year at Brown, so just PM me or e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any in-depth questions. It may be a couple days before I get back to you, though, because right now I'm just procrastinating from studying for our exam on Monday.

Brown has completely changed its admissions process over the past few years. It now accepts about 40% of its students through the standard route. Im not sure of the exact number, but ~35-40 of the incoming students will be regular admits or post-bacc students. The class size has also increased to about 96.
