"Do you think you won the election?" Allieh asked quietly to SwingnSave, even though she already knew the answer.

"No, I never had a shot with that tyrant Rojo. Just because he needs to keep up his 'undefeated streak.' It's so annoying...."

"Yeah, isn't he just THE WORST." Rojo walks over with a grin so wide it can barely be contained on his face. "No worries swings, you gave it your best shot, it's just that your best shot wasn't good enough."

98 cats walks over. "This isn't some type of joke Rojo. Do you understand what was at stake during this mayor election? Do you understand what could have been if you had just listened?"

Rojo looks up, bewildered. "What are you talking about? I won the election fair and square. I will obtain the power that comes with the mayor, and that is that. That's how it works. That is how it has ALWAYS worked."

"But that's not how it really works, now is it?" LIS's voice is combative, and filled with some anger. "Do you expect someone who has done NOTHING for this city, to just swoop in here and be able to work with all of the government officials, and actually effectively run this town? Wouldn't it make more sense to have someone who is actually experienced with the politics of the city take charge? You know, someone like..."

"You guys are all crazy." Rojo bursts out before LIS can finish. "I know how this works, and I can make new connections. I..."

"But it takes time to make new connections." Magbags retorts. "By the time you have actually made a name for yourself, we will have either dealt with this threat or perished from it. Al you have caused right now is stagnancy, not progress. Sometimes the mark of a great leader is to be a great supporter."

Rojo is stunned. "I didn't do anything wrong. I can lead this town, and I will lead this town. We will get rid of this threat together, and we shall work as a team."

"What is this ****e." Off in the distance Devyn can be heard, slightly slurring her words due to a night out from whisky tasting. "Are you freaking daft Rojo? There is something here that you aren't understanding. Listen to them for a second, and stop being so ignorant."

That shut rojo up pretty quickly. "Fine, what am I missing?"

SV88 is the next to speak up, "It's not that we don't think you would be a great leader. You would be. One of the best. But..." SV88 pauses for a second to decide on the best wording. "It just may not have been the best situation for you to have taken charge. Some of us, we know people, we have been in the political field for many years."

A scream interrupts the conversation, as everyone rushes over to its source. Gwen stands there, shaking, staring at the body of DocEspana on the floor. Through his chest is a knife with a note attached that says, in blood, "Enjoy the mayorship Rojo."

Rojo looks up and says, "This violence ends now. Everyone, head off to sleep, and stay off the streets tonight. We will find who did this, and they will pay."

Rojo has been elected mayor.

We are now in NIGHT 1 with a soft deadline of 11 pm est if the last 2 people can send their pms in. If people do not get their pms in, deadline will be 10 am est tomorrow morning.

2. My immediate thought is that there would have been something special going on if someone other than rojo (possibly swings) had been elected, but I'm not sure if I'm reading too much into the write-up or not.

To answer your first point, its b/c my copy and paste function is being weird, and I didn't feel like it was necessary to tag each and every one of you right now. Don't worry, it shall be fixed for day cycles 😛.

It was a fairly busy night in the city last night. Our story first follows your newly elected mayor, Rojo, who just wanted to have a good time following his election. Even times or terror, it makes sense to celebrate the good things that happen. So, he calls up a few friends, reserves the presidential suite in the Marriott by Times Square, and, like all major government officials of New York, calls up some prostitutes and strippers. One of his friends brings over some drugs as well, and they enjoy the blissful times of the evening. They were probably too wrapped up in the bliss of the night that they did not notice the man, outside, in the tree, taking photos.

Next we follow Jayna, just a girl trying to get by. She decided not to follow Rojo's sound of advice of staying inside, and is walks into a drug store nearby to buy some sleeping pills. "I will need a few of these to even have a remote possibility of sleeping." she thinks to herself. She comes out of the department store and is stopped by an older man, maybe in his late 50s. "Why are you in such a hurry?" He asks quietly. "Umm, I just have a lot of stuff that I need to...." as she starts backing away "why am I even answering you, I don't know who you are... wait, a second what are you doing?" A gun, with a silencer on it, is now visible in the man's hands, and his experience has made his aim almost perfect. He lets bullets fly straight into her chest, 5 of them to be exact. He slowly walks towards a black limousine, and drives away. Slowly Jayna stands up and walks off clearly in pain, but very much still alive.

Finally, we follow a man who just moved up from Louisiana, going by the name of BlackBox. He has a long and hard day and decides to retire back to his home early. When he gets home, his door is left open slightly ajar, but BlackBox walks in without fear. He goes over to his bottle of absinth, and takes a quick slug of that. He feels weird, almost as if something was slipped into. He feels woozy and passes out on the floor.

The next morning, Gella Bella, his lovely girlfriend, stops by to check in on him, but he is nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, she did not see the trap set up right inside the bedroom door, and was impaled by a swinging axe on the door.

It is now Day 2. Lynch Deadline is 4:30 pm est.

I would never be with prostitutes Christine, I swear you are my one and only (drugs and prostitutes are no where in this script, what is going on with this production)...
