BATTLE OF THE BANDS WW Game Thread

So I had a theory that there are no wolves in this game, and that each of our songs is an ability that can be used, and one of those abilities would be to kill. So all the killing would be random villager on villager violence. And we would have to start to figure out which song did what ability.

This seemed like a kaydubs kind of thing.

So I used "Janie's got a gun" on that noob mike guy.. (noob guinea pig seemed fairest)....

And he is still alive. I figured if any song could kill, it would be that one.

I guess my theory is wrong, or has a flaw.

I see no reason to keep our band names to ourselves, although I see no advantage to saying them either.

I am Aerosmith. So freaking what!

Honestly, this game is quite mysterious to me.

Mods just told me I was blocked 3 times. That's right. 3 times.

Could have killed the noobiest of noobs. Well I guess I am an old toothless rocker now. That makes sense.

Hmmmm. I wonder if on a given night, one group's songs will all do the same action. Because @StartingoverVet I also got someone's role back when I played a song for them.

I don't think so, cause mods made it clear I got role back for unknown reason.

You must have picked your "seer" song. Does the name make you think of investigation?

More to the point, I presumed (incorrectly) that you'd be told what song was played to you. I was hoping to use it to establish who I was with you .... but apparently you weren't told (per the mods) what song was played or who played it.

If I had known it would block you I would have picked a n00b. Just more practical.
 
I am just not sure if we should all work together to figure out abilities, or if we are all free agents, and should keep our traps shut. If it is the latter, it wouldn't be a lot of fun for me, so I am just gonna play like it is not a dog eat mouse world.

I agree. Not sure how we would figure anything out if we keep stuff to ourselves, since we can't PM

Not really. But I am able to PM with one other player, and that player thought he/she could make it fit when I talked it over with him/her. So... dunno.

It's definitely not 'obvious', anyway. Frankly, it seems like a perfect "get out of lynch" song based on the lyrics.

Who is controlling our mod? Is their some nestled marushka type WW game going on. DocE, JDH, and Jojo are running a stealth game and gives kaydubs instructions or something?

If it's villager on villager violence, though, how would we win? Lynch everyone who can kill? Isn't that pretty much like lynching wolves, only they can't PM?

I agree as well, but mostly for the practical reason that if it's a free-for-all and we can't PM and we all keep to ourselves ... that doesn't sound like a fun game. I'm going to assume it's a straight-up wolves versus villagers game just because that seems more fun.

It's possible you weren't one of the 3 blockers and it still is a get out of lynch song. Who knows how many people targetted me in other ways. I mean i got the pink floyd thing. So that is 4. Maybe you make 5.
