Dic Help!!!!???

Hey everyone,
I am new, and was wondering if anyone would like to assist me in properly diagnosing DIC, using laboratory test findings. Which tests would most accurately support the diagnosis of DIC?

Decreased fibrinogen and platelet levels?

Markedly elevated levels of FDP?

Prolonged PT and PTT, or all?!

I would appreciate any helpful answers/suggestions you may have....

You can probably find this out via a quick literature search. I am sure First Aid for Step 2 summarizes this nicely.

OP, you answered your own questions- I believe correctly. THis may be in FA step 1 as well.
