Someone was like “spurs probably village cause he claimed the IC for affiliation early and that would be ballsy”
And I was like hmm maybe that is a good point
But I can’t remember who did it
So many pages

I thought that was apop

[apoptosis09]

Guys I think it was alissa

[potentialsheltervet]

Oh, different a name. Whoops.

[potentialsheltervet]

Someone please tell me if this logic is off. I really want to give spurs a village read based on aff claim alone. Claiming innocent child when there’s only 1 available card in the deck is quite the gamble if it was part of someone else’s roll. Innocent child cannot be combined with any other scum faction either. i just think it would be incredibly risky for a scum player to claim this as their aff role when there’s a chance that someone else got the card and could easily call them out. It’s definitely not a risk I would take if I were scum, especially because when yeeted, all of my posts would be analyzed and I’d worry about implicating my teammate

okay indeed

[apoptosis09]

I mentioned it after he flipped but I didnt know it was a one-off until someone else mentioned it when he was alive 😅

Alternatively, say I chose innocent child as my ability, and I knew that spurs was lying, I suppose I would hesitate to out myself right away and call him out. Instead, I would look for every possible reason that spurs was sus and try to get people to form a wagon with me. ughh maybe I don’t know anything

no, it wasn't alissa, it was alissa

[apoptosis09]

no, it wasn't alissa, it was alissa

Ah my mistake

[Zenge142]

Guys I think it was alissa

Maybe it was the elusive "Alice" Samac's been muttering about

[supershorty]

I'm not completely sold on the conclusion since a lot of your criticism can be written off as a... "less refined"? shall we call it? play style which you in general find wolfy

Are you saying that I find people wolfy who don't play the way I want?!?

how like my mother tbh

[supershorty]

I'm sitting here on hold with an rDVM and have been on hold FOREVER. That is the only reason I am on the thread right now lol

Alright, I'm off hold now and really have no excuse to not work on this manuscript anymore so toodles.

[samac]

Maybe it was the elusive "Alice" Samac's been muttering about

You’ll never find her

she was trying to say alissa, but the wine got her

[potentialsheltervet]

These?

the fact that people gave reacts to this post but not to mine with the same quote coming earlier really does make me want to flip a table lol

[samac]

It’s amazing that 2 glasses of wine now knocks me on my ass.

@WildZoo Can you undertake another Cthulhu hunt? This time it's the hunt for Alice!

[samac]

I am confused. Did you already pull the Alissa quotes and I missed it?

[potentialsheltervet]

I don't really see the point in trying to be present when it feels like everyone is talking around me. sigh.
maybe I'll come back later to see if the people I feel most pressed about solving are around.

[potentialsheltervet]

I am confused. Did you already pull the Alissa quotes and I missed it?

Yes

[Zenge142]

I am confused. Did you already pull the Alissa quotes and I missed it?

She did quote the first of the two, but it wasn't in response to you directly so you probably weren't tagged

[potentialsheltervet]

having lost CYO III (I think? I don't remember which game that was?) to aliens, I am concerned we aren't paying enough attention to the possibility of extraterrestrials.

[samac]

Yes

Oh sorry, I thought it was just a lot of people saying Alissa over and over and didn’t realize that was actually what I was looking for since it wasn’t in response and I just thought it was more Alissa jokes. My apologies

[samac]

having lost CYO III (I think? I don't remember which game that was?) to aliens, I am concerned we aren't paying enough attention to the possibility of extraterrestrials.

How should we manage it?

[Zenge142]

CYO III was a Mafia win. And you didn't play CYO II or CYO I.

So I'm not sure what game you're referencing.

[potentialsheltervet]

How should we manage it?

I mean, I guess you can't manage aliens...?
But I saw references to Spurs being vigged and am worried the (relative) low death N1 has a sense of complacency about the fact that there could be werewolf(ves) (well, already confirmed in at least Spurs), mafia, aliens, and/or serial killers.
other than repeatedly acknowledging it's multiple, I... dunno. I'm just alarmed.

We lost CYO III to mafia, not aliens. Both aliens were yeeted.

I know there was a game I played with aliens somewhere.

[supershorty]

I know that there was at least action last night that could have a prevented a kill, but I don't know if it did. For whatever limited value that's worth.

[potentialsheltervet]

Oh, I guess just their presence sticks out

I feel good about the number of deaths, maybe I was a target and shorty doctored me.

This is going well

Oh guess I shouldn’t say that part out loud but you claimed Joat anf that you lost it. I picked it up lol

Maybe I blocked you 😱

[potentialsheltervet]

Nah that's not what I mean. I mean that it feels like there aren't enough players being discussed for the number of scum factions I think are likely
especially if you were a target in addition to genny and Spurs

[Zenge142]

I feel good about the number of deaths

I just wanted to quote this so I could take it out of context at some point.

[potentialsheltervet]

if I'm going to get sad and abandon the thread, maybe I should drop a tidbit first

Do you think fruit, Alissa, shorty, me, Dubz, and Zenges being village read by a lot of folks is too much?

[supershorty]

I want to know why you have this concern when it's been established on the thread multiple times that aliens only have a single kill, though.

I can believe that you might have misremembered CYO III because not everyone is an encyclopedia about their past games and I GUESS THAT'S NOT WOLFY IN ITSELF @Zenge142 that was just for you, but that is the only game you've played with aliens, and the mechanics of aliens were discussed in this game.

[samac]

the snack that smiles back

GOLDFISH

[Zenge142]

Also in terms of Aliens, they only really have the 1 kill so it would be crazy to use it N1. You basically have to play as a survivor, get to endgame and then use it to win.

Alien is difficult to pull off.

[supershorty]

PSV is claiming Goldfish

[samac]

PSV is claiming Goldfish

I legit looked at the list to see if it existed lol

I didn't even know aliens had been brought up in this game yet. It has been established multiple times that I have not read much of the thread, so of course I have no idea people have apparently discussed the mechanics of aliens.
I brought them up as an example because I remember being floored by their existence and my concern is less how many times they can kill than that they're village exclusive.

I feel like this post implies that I was reading that post in a wolfy fashion, which I'm not sure I was, I just really wanted to make that joke at Zenge, I do truly want to understand your concern more.

Are you an alien?
