I didn't even know aliens had been brought up in this game yet. It has been established multiple times that I have not read much of the thread, so of course I have no idea people have apparently discussed the mechanics of aliens.

... okay? I'm trying to understand where you're coming from, idk why you're getting testy at me.

I brought them up as an example because I remember being floored by their existence and my concern is less how many times they can kill than that they're village exclusive.

They are village-exclusive, but if they are even in this game, they are IMO less of a threat to village than factions that have a multiple kill. Because alien is such a nerfed scum faction, I think it's generally one that's less likely to be chosen in general (that said, CYO III did have 2 of them, so lolme).

I just find it interesting that your specific example was aliens, given that of those you listed, it is the one that is least threatening to village from a numbers perspective. But idk that this really is all that significant/I'm not going to keep digging at it because my gut vibe is that it's not going to be all that useful or give me a lot of insight.

But I saw references to Spurs being vigged and am worried the (relative) low death N1 has a sense of complacency about the fact that there could be werewolf(ves) (well, already confirmed in at least Spurs), mafia, aliens, and/or serial killers.
other than repeatedly acknowledging it's multiple, I... dunno. I'm just alarmed.

I feel like I already brought this up so unless people are specifically only hunting for Spurs partners and 100% clearing people for pushing him alone I don't really see what you would like us to do...

A godread means you have never read someone wrong over numerous games with them as multiple affiliations.

There used to be a player on these forums by the name of Truenamer. I never read him incorrectly, caught him scumming multiple times, and could correctly identify him as town. dyachei has a godread on AM.

I don't feel like it's that big of a revelation in this setup, unfortunately. It's one of those things that's like "cool, okay", but in this setup, negatives mean a lot less than positives.

I checked several scum in CYO II but because the seering roles only tell you one faction, it's just kind of meh when you get a negative result. which is all I got in that game and I'm still bitter about it.

I'm less interested in that and more interested in why you chose Dubz.

Genuinely I think that anyone who can't keep up with the firehose of this game is going to struggle to be able to give you in depth reads or explanations.

Granted I'm known to not fact check myself before saying **** anyway 😅 but absolutely no way can I do a useful search of 61 pages, even if I'm not in finals. I imagine others are feeling the same

I feel like everything is boiling down to me not knowing what's happening with the thread and like. I just don't have the energy to go back and read. That became pretty clear to me early on.
as to your second point, I asked Clem yesterday. which is probably not the answer you're looking for, but it is the truth so

I understand being volume-overloaded, I was in all of my champs games and I had to play differently as a result, but the answer to volume overload isn't be cryptic. At least not if you're town. You need to be findable.

Not saying this is currently in the game, just saying since it's a role that exists it's important to exercise caution with that kind of reveal until we have more information.
