clem/spurs - POSSIBLE. There is nothing unpairing between the two of them. Spurs discusses not wanting to vote Clem bc of pushing him hard last game and then proceeds to village read him. Clem doesn't say anything specific about Spurs.

Oh yeah this did happen. Now to debate if it truly was due to going after him last game or because partners

I will say be careful of falling into an omgsus trap. Like “you’re Sus for suspecting me!” I can be bad about it sometimes abd while I do use it to form reads on people I look at it from a do they feel like they’re coming from a genuine place or not? Sometimes that helps me. Because of all scum co converging on you would be stupid.

It reminds me of a time when I was new in bio shock where I wasn’t scum but was neutral and I was convinced someone suspecting me was wolfing. They were convinced I was wolfing. We went at each other and I shanked him and ended up blocking his night action, he was a villager and it got him killed. Those traps are bad

for the record, this is not a godread. A strong read =/= a godread.

A godread means you have never read someone wrong over numerous games with them as multiple affiliations.

There used to be a player on these forums by the name of Truenamer. I never read him incorrectly, caught him scumming multiple times, and could correctly identify him as town. dyachei has a godread on AM.

I didn't quote the very first quote I shared with fruit bc we've all already seen it. But I start the game saying that spurs is likely to choose scum if he gets the chance. Then, later on in D1, spurs says the following about me:

I feel like someone else may have said this while I'm reviewing, but this is weird. Backtracking on kitz and rae, after initially planting those as your only real reads?

We are both throwing light sus at each other pretty early on in the game. In our first outing as wolves (noob game), we didn't interact with each other like this. I don't think this is a strategy spurs would choose to use during D1.
After this is when we both village read each other. I don't know what spurs' motivation for village reading me was, but I can say that at the time he was pinging village to me (and I think there was a part of me that was really hoping he was village bc I wanted to play with village spurs so I was more willing to overlook things).
D1 closes and we pick up in N1.

Current reads & thoughts: This is in no particular order.

Scumleans
Spurs - I'm starting to see what other players were mentioning yesterday that made him feel different from village!Spurs. I'm curious about him - maybe some type of 3p scum?

What specifically are you starting to see?

Some defensiveness/tension that I didn't see last time we were village together. Though, to be fair, that could be because you are under a lot of heat right now. I feel like you started out super chill - like overcompensating if that makes sense and are now slightly panicky.

Spurs moves to scumreads because I've started to notice the sketchy things other players picked up on (the slang, the overly defensiveness) and can't townread him anymore. We have this interaction.
I wouldn't have dropped him all the way from town to scumreads like that if we were paired - I know that that draws attention and would have looked much more suspicious than just keeping him up in townreads/neutral.
Also why would we have both village read each other so hard at the beginning? We know that's pairing - we learned that from our time in the noob game. A beans/spurs pairing would look a lot different than what we've seen so far because we've wolfed together before and wouldn't be this sloppy.

For me, i dont like the random voting but i appreciate the insight he gave for later votes with reasonings. Its just a very different style from me which may be why it bothers me.

Also, tone reminds me a bit of spurs right before vote close. Which could be nothing (since i know i was getting frustrated getting grilled by shorty the other day when idk how to answer more clearly other than trust me bro lol)

So suffice to say not a super confident vote, but a couple things that bothered me

The Tl;DR is that PSV, apop, alissa, SAR, and clem seem like possible wolf partners for spurs.
Of this group the interactions between spurs and alissa made me the most suspicious.
