True. Me "ducking for cover" wasn't my choice, DVMDream just said that's what happened. I actually had to confirm with her that I was still allowed to speak! :laugh: I wasn't sure. Maybe RNG determines if you're safe or not...who knows...

I dont think ive done anythong suspicious. Im just a villager. I had the revolver last night and didnt use it
 
I'm ok switching my vote - I have no more/less reason to suspect Nstarz than Dyachei. Just going off the events of last night thinking that SOV promoted. So, since Nstarz is not silenced ... switched my vote.
 
Omg this thread is SO hard to follow in a pinch when on the phone!!! Well interested to see what this turns out
 
And Nstarz.... yer welcome. I think my last second vote swung things for you. I really hope that:

a) Dyachei is a wolf, and
b) You are not. If you turn out to be one ... many thousands deaths upon you. 😉

Thank you LIS! I am definitely not a wolf. Hopefully dyachei is. I had to vote for her to save my own tush.

It's entirely possible, but I feel ok about the vote - our reasoning is sound, given the information we have. *shrug* I think SOV and some of the others voting against Nstarz would have switched too if they were on.
 
The earthquake from last night really confused our mansion guests. “Who all was silenced?” “Was one of the murderers silenced?” The mansion guests went back and forth trying to determine who was causing all of these murders and who should they blame next. Ultimately, it was determined that NStarz should pay the price. Just as the mansion guests are about to turn on NStarz she speaks up, “NO! Don’t kill me! I am not silenced!” In a classic pre-vet flip-flop vote, the mansion guests turn and go after dyachei. Poor Dyachei is grabbed by the mansion guests, drug to the area with the high ceiling and hung to her death. She was silenced having been injured the previous night during the earthquake. You have killed Dyachei, Ellen Degeneres and mansion guest.


17 players remain. Night ends at 6PM PST.

Yeah, I didn't go to the actual funeral (too many ethical/potential issues) but some coworkers and I did go out to lunch and kind of...deal with it that way.

Sorry dyachei, I tried to suggest the silent weren't necessarily guilty, but it was not in enough time. Hopefully we won't make the same mistake twice.
 
That is why I could not chose who the heck to vote for in the end. I hate voting to lynch the silent ones as it always ends bad. 🙁

Is someone giving you crap? They better not be! Modding is hard work and the mod should be respected. Remember DVM, you don't have to put up with anyone's ****. You can kill them off any time you want.

Yay I can talk!! It's so awful to be silenced and have your innocence questioned. Thank you so much Philliab for defending me!! As to why I was silenced, yes, it was because I tried to use the knife. Here's what the knife does: you choose who to attack AND what room to attack them in - you can choose any room at all, not just yours or the one that the person is currently in. All it does is block their ability for that night. I asked DVMDream if it moved the person to the room you attacked them it, and she said she couldn't tell me. But I thought I remembered someone saying that they were cut AND moved to a different room the same night, so I thought maybe it did. My plan was to use it on someone, knowing for a fact that it wouldn't kill them, and move them to the Conservatory. I thought that it would be good for the sharing of information. This obviously means that I was out when the earthquake happened and therefore injured.

I don't think players with roles were silenced - I know that Philliab tried to use her ability and was told that it didn't work because of the earthquake, but she wasn't silenced. I think those silenced either had items or are wolves.
 
Sorry, guys -- IPB and I were gone way longer than we'd anticipated. Didn't mean to miss the whole day cycle! There was no wifi anywhere so I couldn't check in like I'd planned to :bang: Sorry you were lynched, dyachei 🙁 And DVMDream -- I agree with Katie8. Smite anyone giving you crap! You're doing an awesome job!

Before I forget, IPB is currently driving home and will be MIA for another 1ish hours. And I'm going to hit the books for the rest of the night but will keep an eye on the thread.

Don't have much to add, except my deepest gratitude to DVMDream. I think you are an awesome Mod. I took a lot of **** in the last game, so I can empathize. 😍
It is a really tough job sometimes. Feel free to kill anyone causing you trouble, really. It is your mod given right. Anyone. 😎

Eh. I think the reasoning was ... well, reasonable. We weren't voting only because they were silent, but because of the combination of last night's earthquake silencing people, it only impacting people who were 'out and about', and the likelihood that wolves would be out and about. We all knew we were risking hitting a villager with an item/role that was out and about, too, and the risk just didn't pay off.

That doesn't mean it wasn't the right gamble at the time ... can't apply hindsight that way.

I do think there's a likelihood that not all wolves were silenced, potentially. Someone has to have known what the item was going to do and might have potentially told others.

I agree. Not sure I am done with that list. Lacking other info, I am still convinced someone on it, if not 2, are wolves.

I think that is a given. I expect that at least one wolf is on the list, but would be very surprised if they all were.
