Drexel vs. Albany Med

Other than location, do you think that there is much difference in terms of the curriculum/reputation of the schools? I'm from Albany, so I'm pretty familiar with the area.

I interviewed at both schools and felt they were somewhat similar. I personally like Albany better b/c of the feelings I got from the student hosts, but I liked the third and fourth year rotations at Allegheny General in Pittsburgh better at Drexel.

I don't think they're a big difference in perceived prestige or cost so I would go with whichever one you felt happiest in.

no prestige difference. Cirriculum if you love pbl is way better at drexel but they also have a more traditional one if you dont want the pbl one. personally id go drexel based on location alone. Finances should be the same at both since they are both expensive and have relatively little aid to dish around.

I like Albany better than Drexel, but I think if you don't already have a preference I would go by which location you'd prefer.
