They are. I think that they have to decide by Monday, were given the admit today.

Good question! I will ask the person. Apparently, they're going by WL rules, rather than the customary April 30th date. Their football, their rules.

Not sure tho it seems like based on last year they were sending A's throughout all of May rather than only on May 1st.

OOS A off of the AL this morning! Placed on AL 10/18.
Do they send all the emails at once each day or throughout the day? I am constantly refreshing my emails T_T

Looks like from last year's thread they sent out As at 10 AM EST to people on May 1. Probably done for today 🙁

Why do you say this? And there will be more movement, as others holding a spot at Albany get into other schools that they'd prefer to attend,off of the wait list at those schools. Hang in there. It's not going to be really over until mid-August.

Thanks for the encouragement! Tempering expectations, I suppose. One good thing is that Albany will let everyone know regardless by July 21 according to the AL response email, so at least we won't have to wait until August

Huh. The admissions office is pretty responsive to emails in my experience – maybe you could reach out?

Going by last year's thread – it looks like a few people were accepted on 5/14, 5/16, and 5/17, and also at the end of the month. But it's hard to say because of course people who aren't on SDN might be getting off the waitlist any time. Let's keep the faith people!

Thank you. As I said in a previous comment, from the past few threads it appears Albany accepts students as late as June so keep your chins up people.
