Wrong answer. Wolves exist so they need to be voted. No one yet. Hence why I haven’t voted 🙂

We do. Is it better than rand? Idk, statistics is villains. The important thing is to put in effort and treat day 1 like it matters because that is useful for analysis on later days, not hand wave it as useless because we don't have much info yet.honestly curious if you ever catch wolves on d1? Or have at a better rate than a random dice roll? It seems pretty random to me at this point though I do believe d1 is relevant in retrospect, since once you know how people flip you can look at their commenting and yeeting history and start putting pieces together, but I feel like with the lack of information we have now + the funkiness of the multi faction mechanics + the amount of noobs in this game it’s really hard for me to infer anything substantive through the thick fog of first day awkwardness
If we’re speaking in semantics, sure. Wolves are deserving of yeets. As I don’t have a read on who is wolfy yet, I cannot identify specific individuals.Wrong answer. Wolves exist so they need to be voted.
Sure, I interpreted it as random. SOV hasn’t played with PSV before. I don’t know about Wiisp but I already explained how I read his argument as contradictory. Do you think there’s a valid concern with PSV’s single fluff post?I edited my post before you replied with another sentence.
Neither of them said it was random though.
Then you need to start pressuring people so you can figure that out.If we’re speaking in semantics, sure. Wolves are deserving of yeets. As I don’t have a read on who is wolfy yet, I cannot identify specific individuals.
Erm does this mean "traditional wolfpack" as in it exists as its own separate faction outside of the others, or are there wolves within the other factions? This is a factional game with a traditional wolfpack. Each faction has individual wincons. Not all wincons are exclusive.
Are you referring to the roster groups?I have no Fire Emblem background so excuse the ignorance, but do the groupings matter at all? Are these indicative of some sort of alliance or…?
Not everyone’s as aggro as you, ma’am 😡 Some of us sit here in the background to introvertedly analyze and then chime in with secured insights. Then you need to start pressuring people so you can figure that out.
YepAre you referring to the roster groups?
Fair enough! I definitely think it’s valuable to be wolfhunting early (hence my vote on animalmidwife who’s probably village, but whose play style always feels very wolfy to me) I just also empathize with noobs who look at a bunch of posts on d1 and go I dunno seems pretty random at this point and there’s no hard evidence to go after and if I throw out anything I’ll likely be hounded for it by a veteran so I’ll just keep to myself and engage more on later days.We do. Villagers should be wolfhunting as best as they can, even on d1, otherwise you're just giving wolves a place to hide.
You really are your father's daughterSome of us sit here in the background to quietly analyze and then chime in with secured insights.
I don't see a reason o village read her off of that so I'm fine with pressure.Sure, I interpreted it as random. SOV hasn’t played with PSV before. I don’t know about Wiisp but I already explained how I read his argument as contradictory. Do you think there’s a valid concern with PSV’s single fluff post?
Okay, but I was actually just wondering about reads rather than who you liked as a person. As for village reading, I’m not gonna village read anyone early on D1. I just liked the humor hence said “good vibes”. The only info I have is the ppl I’m allied with, but no info on their aff. So I’m gonna be cautious about that too.
Pressuring doesn't have to be aggro. That's just the version I choose for myself since it has a high success rate. Not everyone’s as aggro as you, ma’am 😡 Some of us sit here in the background to introvertedly analyze and then chime in with secured insights.
(or it’s just my anxiety talking, but that’s neither here nor there)
Yeah I also got thrown off (aka, intimidated) by the forwardness the first time I played with the seasoned players. You'll get used to the vibe fast and realize people aren't actually being aggressive lolNot going to lie, I didn't expect the yeets to start right away. I did like Nates post.
i have No idea how or if they factor into the mechanics here, but they’re all major locales in the game and none of them are specifically associated with any of the houses tpo directly to my knowledge. like the monastery is run by the church of swirls, but all 3 houses attend there. From where i am in the game, I don’t know much about the other localesI have no Fire Emblem background so excuse the ignorance, but do the groupings matter at all? Are these indicative of some sort of alliance or…?
I'm certainly never confident in my votes d1. It's not like AM has a solid wolf read on the first person she votes every game, it's so she can work towards reading them. You don't have to have a read to vote and question people, it's part of the process.Fair enough! I definitely think it’s valuable to be wolfhunting early (hence my vote on animalmidwife who’s probably village, but whose play style always feels very wolfy to me) I just also empathize with noobs who look at a bunch of posts on d1 and go I dunno seems pretty random at this point and there’s no hard evidence to go after and if I throw out anything I’ll likely be hounded for it by a veteran so I’ll just keep to myself and engage more on later days.
I feel like in some ways accepting the chaotic shooting in the dark aspect of d1 makes it feel a little more accessible, recognizing that all you’ll really have is tiny hunches and funny feelings to go off of early on, but that isn’t nothing so might as well prod and yeet.
Unlikely to have any relevance to role assignments imo
Just as reminder, wolfhunting mean voting people you think are wolves. Not people you think are village.Fair enough! Oh right. Well, just to be safe...to be fair, i came in 3rd place in champs and won all 3 of my games as a wolf without ever being yeeted, fear me mortals
I take it back I'm really bad at wolfing lolOh right. Well, just to be safe...
unyeet Santy
yeet Wiisp
Too late now heheheI take it back I'm really bad at wolfing lol
Different how?Fluff's tone is striking me as quite different this game compared to the noob game. Not sure what to do with that yet but want to note it
I’ve only really played 1 game with you?Just as reminder, wolfhunting mean voting people you think are wolves. Not people you think are village.
I also don't remember you ever tunneling on me before? Could you link some posts where that happened in either of the three prior games you played with me before?
Alright. So from that one game then.I’ve only really played 1 game with you?
It feels a little more serious and organized, I think. If she was trying to play up a chaotic 3P in this noob game then this might be NAI for village/wolf here. She was a wolf in the previous noob game, right? I think she also felt looser there than she does here if my disaster of a memory bank is feeling out metas correctlyDifferent how?
Also not sure what to do with that given she was 3p in the noob game lol
l u r k i n g
Yeah idk. Feels like it's probably more useful to compare to any of the regular games she's played than noob games. It feels a little more serious and organized, I think. I sat out of most of the games last year so my meta recollection might be considerably outdated lolYeah idk. Feels like it's probably more useful to compare to any of the regular games she's played than noob games.
Gosh, to be a fly on the wall in these manator chats haha….While I've never played with AM, having her as my manator, this is exactly how I expected this to be lol

I just checked and it doesn’t seem like I expressed it in that game. There’s a lot more games I watched from the backseat with fluff. It’s just the general approach of pressuring everyone for everything feels intense whenever I see it. My first game I ragequit cuz I got overwhelmed from Mel pushing me for not having more logic than I laid out. The second game I think I never had much to go off of. Again my main reason for suspecting you this game is less your style which I now understand is nai but rather your reaction to my joke which isn’t much to go off of except I haven’t seen anything more substantial to vote on anywhere yetAlright. So from that one game then.
This isn’t the response I expected from you.Yeah I wasn't saying it was wolfy of her, I was just responding to her response to me lol
I can empathize cause that had been my approach too and I hate pressuring ppl. But to avoid falling into false assumptions I now tend to go with “neutral unless soft cleared or moved to wolfy”.I’d say my playstyle is more of “village until proven wolfy”, whereas some of y’all seem to be “wolfy until proven village.” I understand the strategy of going hard for wolves immediately, but in past games, I know I personally have a sucky wolf-dar and end up hard regretting my yeet choices. For me, D1 is more of an information gathering stage to plan night actions, as I believe information gathered at night usually ends up being the most useful for trapping wolfies :9
You said I'm likely village though. I also had no reason to assume it was a joke given it's your 3rd game.I just checked and it doesn’t seem like I expressed it in that game. The biggest thing I associate with wolf!AM is logic twisting. I think she tends to be more stiff and unforgiving of jokes as a wolf but she still does it as villageThis isn’t the response I expected from you.
I feel like you do associate AM being stiff and missing jokes with Wolf!AM. Am I misremembering that?
Huh then that nullifies my thought processNo. She was village.
I guess if you felt the need to point it out, I assumed it was because you thought it was crossing into what you thought was wolf!AM territory, but I guess that isn’t how you’re reading it currently. The biggest thing I associate with wolf!AM is logic twisting. I think she tends to be more stiff and unforgiving of jokes as a wolf but she still does it as village
WW mostlyThis has nothing to do with anything but how do some of you have 60K+ POSTS ON SDN WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
