It's okay Dubz this means she mustn't have read the ATE you left for the wolves no no she wouldn't say these words if she'd read you begging for death that would just be too much hmmyes everything is okay

the what?

[WildZoo]

THIS JUST GUARANTEES YOUR TOWNINESS PLEASE IT WAS HELPFUL IN THE END AAAAAA

HOW DOES IT GUARANTEE MY TOWNINESS ALL YOU KNOW IS I WASN'T KILLING LAST NIGHT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M TOWN

[WildZoo]

the what?

ATE = Appeal to Emotion

[beans2020]

[beans2020]

Whoever killed genny last night, please raise your hand and say "I"

[WildZoo]

For a prime example of ATE please see the posts Zenge was making towards the end of the night cycle

[vampyrica]

oooo ok ok

[vampyrica]

HOW DOES IT GUARANTEE MY TOWNINESS ALL YOU KNOW IS I WASN'T KILLING LAST NIGHT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M TOWN

ARE YOU SAYING YOURE NOT TOWN?

[vampyrica]

should we just play rock paper scissors for this next elim? like wtf do we do from here

[WildZoo]

Actually the post I made that was addressed to the wolves wasn't really ATE in the traditional sense, I just didn't want villagers to read it and feel I was being manipulative, I just wanted to make wolves feel bad and consider killing me

But clearly that didn't work!

[vampyrica]

i didnt even read it lol yay me !!

[WildZoo]

ARE YOU SAYING YOURE NOT TOWN?

NO I'M ASKING YOU TO EXPLAIN YOUR LOGIC

[beans2020]

Here is my logic:
AM, Greedy, and genny all were suspicious of zenge.
They are all dead now (not all killed by zenge ofc)
Things do not look good for zenge rn.

[vampyrica]

NO I'M ASKING YOU TO EXPLAIN YOUR LOGIC

WHY WOULD YOU BE FREAKING OUT OVER IT IF YOU WERENT TOWN?? UNLESS YOURE PLAYING REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY ON ME AND TRYING TO MAKE ME THINK THAT YOURE ACTUALLY UPSET OVER BEING TUBED WHEN IN REALITY YOUR PARTNER DID THE KILL ANYWAY SO IT DIDNT MATTER

[WildZoo]

should we just play rock paper scissors for this next elim? like wtf do we do from here

Everyone roll for initiative

all dead and vanilla town…damn

[WildZoo]

WHY WOULD YOU BE FREAKING OUT OVER IT IF YOU WERENT TOWN?? UNLESS YOURE PLAYING REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY ON ME AND TRYING TO MAKE ME THINK THAT YOURE ACTUALLY UPSET OVER BEING TUBED WHEN IN REALITY YOUR PARTNER DID THE KILL ANYWAY SO IT DIDNT MATTER

BECAUSE LOGICALLY YOU SHOULD NOT CONCLUDE FROM THAT ACTION THAT I AM TOWN IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE WOLF LEFT

[WildZoo]

AND IT'S SUS TO CLEAR ME FOR THINGS I SHOULDN'T BE CLEARED FOR

[WildZoo]

AND I TOLD YOU GENNY WAS GONNA DIE

[WildZoo]

genny died saying you and vampy were the wolves and Zenge was 3p at worst so I wouldn't be too hasty there

[beans2020]

genny died saying you and vampy were the wolves and Zenge was 3p at worst so I wouldn't be too hasty there

Fair point, fair point

[vampyrica]

AND IT'S SUS TO CLEAR ME FOR THINGS I SHOULDN'T BE CLEARED FOR

GIRL IM OUT OF OPTIONSSSSS WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM MEEEEE

[vampyrica]

AND I TOLD YOU GENNY WAS GONNA DIE

I DIDNT REALLY THINK SHE WOULD I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE DUMB TO KILL HER BUT ALSO I GUESS GG ON THE WOLVES BC NOW WERE TALKING ABOUT ME WHEN I DIDNT DO IT NOR AM I WOLFFFFR

[WildZoo]

GIRL IM OUT OF OPTIONSSSSS WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM MEEEEE

I DON'T KNOOOOOWWWW

[WildZoo]

Screaming is cathartic sometimes, sorry y'all, I get a little unhinged in endgame scenarios, it really would have been best for everyone if I had died 🙂

[vampyrica]

I DON'T KNOOOOOWWWW

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

[vampyrica]

im having fun with the screaming, its okie!

[WildZoo]

If I just go with genny's reads then it's her fault if it's wrong, right?

[beans2020]

Oooooh ok new idea
Let's hold a seance, summon PSV back from the dead and ask her who the other wolves are.
I see no problems with this plan

[WildZoo]

I have like all day tomorrow to figure this out and probably reach the wrong conclusion so I'm gonna crochet and watch some TV for the rest of this lovely evening... except I will definitely still check back in because of who I am as a person, but I won't be doing any major rereading tonight

[beans2020]

oh while I'm thinking about it, would genny's night action have gone through before they died? Would they have been able to actually use their lighter?
Also zenge did you get anything from your lie detector?

[vampyrica]

oh yeah i forgot about the lie detector. maybe he chose someone else because i did not get a notification of anything other than tubing dubz

[vampyrica]

unless its a silent action?

[supershorty]

I'M NOT DOING FLAVOR TONIGHT, BUT I FEEL LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO INFORM YOU THAT IT IS MYLO.

[beans2020]

mylo?

[Lissarae06]

I tried playing spin the bottle with dubz last night but the tube kept spinning me away. I’m pretty sure spin the bottle would have let us PM each other but I got blocked.

Zenge is the most suspicious to me. The whole lie detector item does not seem legit.

[WildZoo]

mylo?

Misyeet and lose

If we yeet a villager it's game over man

[supershorty]

mylo?

A misyeet today will mean the game becomes unwinnable for village.

The difference between Mylo and volo (or lylo) is that in mylo, you can no-vote (some people call this sleeping - you would do so by saying vote sleep) and the game is not lost that cycle (however, the next cycle would be volo) - whereas in volo, not only can you not misyeet, but you MUST vote out a wolf for the game not to end. Some people call it mylo and lylo, but that's left over from when the terminology for voting out was lynch, which we don't say anymore.

I used to have a post of mine that I'd bookmarked that explained this all mathematically, but I can't find it.

tl;dr:

Mylo = MisYeet, LOse
Volo = Vote [correctly] or LOse

I hope that makes sense, idk, I'm not feeling well

[WildZoo]

I'M NOT DOING FLAVOR TONIGHT, BUT I FEEL LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO INFORM YOU THAT IT IS MYLO.

I feel legally obligated to ask if we're allowed to sleep, lest AM smite me from the grave

[supershorty]

I feel legally obligated to ask if we're allowed to sleep, lest AM smite me from the grave

I actually don't know the answer to that.

I'd allow it, so if the answer is no, it means that SAR's a meany poopypants, and given how many times she won Friendliest Player... that seems unlikely.

[WildZoo]

Hmmm

I'm gonna

Sleep on it heh

[supershorty]

I actually don't know the answer to that.

SAR says she doesn't care, which means I'm in charge and sleep is allowed.

[WildZoo]

In case it's unclear to nooblets, this means we can vote to sleep, eliminating no one today, and potentially allowing for some more info from night actions and the night kill to let us make a more informed decision the next day.

This gives me another chance to die before the Big Choke™️

[supershorty]

If the thread ties a vote between sleep and someone, and I kill everyone in the tie, does that mean we are all insomniacs thereafter?

😭

[Zenge142]

genny did indeed light me on fire before she died, and according to my night results I’ll be dead soon.

I’m guessing at the end of this cycle or just before the next day cycle

[Lissarae06]

Mylo volo… you know what, YOLO

Vote zenge

[Zenge142]

Process of Elimination

Yeet Vampy

I wish genny had said more about her read there.

I think of the people I’m most suspicious of Vampy is by process of elimination a likely wolf, pairs well with PSV, unlike me.

Not that it really matters. We won’t have the numbers.

[Zenge142]

I’m getting misyeeted today and there’s literally nothing I can do about it because not a single villager who’s planning to vote for me will ever stop to reevaluate.

I’ve been in this final misyeet situation over a dozen times and no matter what I say no one ever changes their vote. From Emojis to the first goats, the game before last where I wasn’t the final, but certainly the one of the first Misyeets. The outcome is always the same.

There has never been a single time I have ever been able to convince a single person that I’m the going to be misyeeted. No one ever changes their minds.

So I’m just not going to bother. I’m going to go enjoy my Saturday.

There’s literally not a single thing I can say at this point to change any villager’s minds. History has taught me that. No one is ever willing to re-evaluate.

I’m just going to chalk this up as a village loss, and move on.

I am truly sorry village. I lost us this game and it’s my fault, 100%.

Wait if you're dying and you are village then we really need to vote sleep

Or...wait then...is it mechanical Volo despite numbers? F.
