It is a lot of stress and money, but they're worth it, even though I most likely will not be able to keep them myself. I have been trying since November. I could have placed them many times, but I didn't trust most and the ones I did trust, they suddenly got disinterested in them. I would never let them go to a farm family because they would be outdoors. It wasn't really worth rescuing them if they end up going back outside. I figure I will already go in a lot of debt, why not $1,000 more! It's for a good cause, for the cause of 3 lives! They are wonderful babies!
Smiles, as far as the pet travel sceme, I am pretty sure there is a way to fly your cat directly into Glasgow. I know there are not a lot of carriers who will take them, but there has got to be one that will fly him directly into Glasgow. If not, you could take the 1 cent flight with ryanair to London, pick up Miles, and take the train back to Glasgow. I think the hardest part is getting him prepared and finding a carrier to get him there safely. After that, everything else can be taken care of with little worries. Did you do the blood test which has to be 6 months in advance yet? Have you found out anything about housing yet? I was wondering if maybe the dorms do allow pets? It's Glasgow, not the US, and I was thinking there might be some dorms which are ok with them.
I put some links to some recent pictures of my babies!
