I can’t remember if I’ve played with wolf!bread (I don’t think so?) but this is how village!bread has been eliminated in several games I think (or kinda similar players like Bob). It’s always the uncomfortable option of keeping a jokey low-content villager vs uncovering a lurking wolf

Village!bread is just inactive and jokey, wolf!bread tries to be active but the jokes come off forced and the content comes off artificial so there's a difference in his jokey low-content-ness

i have no idea what your power is but you seemed very upset about losing it and most powers that are useful for a villager tend to have a use for wolves as well

unless you think a villager took your power I don’t tend to like wolves having extra powers (unless it’s me and Cubs is trying to give me a vig kill lol)

I just woke up and my brain is too foggy to make sense of the writeup and everyone's following claims but one thing stood out to me

The writeup said Chaos is in grave condition - not dead - then said "eliminated indefinitely" instead of "eliminated" - is resurrection a possibility?

I took it at first as there was possibly two attacks or actions. The one player who is in the hospital had something else done to them, and chaos was the kill choice, or died in someone else's place.

I know it's already been said, but quirk stealing seems like it'd be a wolfy power in this context. Definitely a possibility that stolen quirks could be used if KD is following source material. I also find it a bit interesting TME brought it up. This is all speculation though, just something to keep in mind.

The next morning, the classroom of 1-A was abuzz with hushed conversations. When Mr. Aizawa walked in, the talking dimmed. Barely.

"News travels fast. I want to let you know that, yes, someone is in the hospital in grave condition."

Since it seems to be open to different interpretations, it seems to me like two specific night actions were named in the write up. My interpretation of them is

1. A person/group ambushed a student. Likely wolfy. The attackers tried valiantly but were ineffective. Unclear if any impact on the student - my gut would guess no given the “ineffective”wording, but mods could mean many things

2. someone (chaos) overpowered. Chaos is “indefinitely” eliminated so I wonder if it could be a non-wolf action with a possibility for revival? With multiple attacks in one night I always think about whether there are non-wolf scum or village vig or other powers at play.

I was grabbed, fought valiantly and then my quirk was gone.

My gut feeling is that the mods just like the word valiant and this is not what is described by #1, but that’s definitely open to questioning. This seems more like a successful attempt to eliminate or steal a power.

Being in grave condition seems “effective” to me. Chaos is “indefinitely” eliminated which seems consistent with being in grave condition?

Just to be clear nothing indicates that someone else has it to use in the write up I had. I was grabbed, fought, and then realized it was permanently gone.

My understanding generally is that they choose another player to hide behind. If there’s a kill attempt on them, they can’t be found because they’re hiding. But if the person they hide behind dies, they die too.

I have watched him intentionally not submit a night action more than once before so it's not a foreign thought process to me.

Here's my rough reads list. I don't have any strong wolf feels at the moment tbh, just some weird pings and feelings. The degrees of separation between the groups is not large, and they aren't in any particular order.

I think the points on Bread have been interesting and I definitely see where they're coming from regarding the posting a lot, but mostly fluff and how that's different from when I've seen him village. I have to go back and read Cray's posts when I have time later, but she hasn't been hitting me as her normal village self. Cubsy for reasons I mentioned last night.

I took it as gravely injured was referring to chaos and KD just worded it that way instead of saying killed

Honestly I find the whole thing confusing. Perhaps he forgot to submit an action AND the wolves targeted him, both seems weird and unfortunate but weirder things have happened.

It is possible he didn’t see himself as a day 1 kill target and thought it was safer to not use the ability than to use it.
I don’t have a good answer and I don’t think we’re going to find it.
