OOS alternate which I’m pleasantly surprised! But declining as I’ve started in spring with LMUCVM. Good luck to everyone and congratulations to all who were accepted.

To those who weren’t, please don’t beat yourself up, but allow yourself time to feel how you feel. Give yourself grace and push forward! It took me 3 years to get 2 interviews, 1 acceptance, and 1 waitlist. The other years I was denied. If you want to improve your GPA if that’s a factor, highly recommend looking into LMU’s 1 year masters program as it helped me get to where I am today and it’s a bridge program to the vet school.

Does anyone have the same issue?

They also are known for waitlisting A LOT of students (200+ I believe) and their waitlist is notorious for moving A LOT every year. Don’t lose hope! I think last year they were accepting people off the waitlist in the 180s

I was 161 last year and they got to 151 but they have gotten into the 180s in the past. I am on the alternate list again...and the wait, especially when they got so close last year is painful but I agree, don't lost hope! I know of people who applied last year for the second or third time and moved up a lot on the alternate list each time they applied.

Me too! OOS Waitlist
 
I don’t like how when I filled out the remain form I didn’t get an email confirming my response or something like that. Did that happen to anyone else?
 
OOS alternate. Honestly the most anxiety inducing answer LOL. Got on the list last year. Was #176, they made it to 150s. We get our ranks end of March. Wish everyone luck and hopefully we find out soon!!!

IS Waitlist! First good news I have heard this application cycle! I'm not sure what to expect next. Does anyone know when we will receive our numbers for where we are on the list? Also, any idea how many off the IS waitlist get called?
 
OOS alternate but will be declining as I've also been accepted elsewhere. Good luck to everyone on the alternate list! Hopefully it moves up far fast!
 
Congratulations to everyone accepted or on the waitlist! I’m a current VM1 at ISU. Just want to give an FYI to all.

For those accepted, especially those on the fence of deciding where they would like to attend next year, ISU does offer scholarships (ones that you do not need to apply separately for). Some are small and some are pretty substantial especially to OOS students. I’ve heard of them being offered anywhere from the day of your acceptance to the day you enroll. For timeline purposes, I was offered my scholarship about 2 weeks after my acceptance (it was a very pleasant surprise, and made my decision much easier).

For those on the waitlist, the waitlist at ISU is said to move quite a but for OOS at least, and I know many amazing classmates who had accepted seats off the waitlist. So don’t give up hope!
