Hey all!

I was recently admitted to LECOM DSP and am trying to decide between the two. I'm very torn at the moment and need to decide within the week.
PNWU is more expensive and does not really offer any scholarships.
LECOM is much cheaper and I could possibly get a merit scholarship here as well (Lizzy score = 69).
I like PNWU for it's location (close to home), the new facilities, cool people, and the curriculum.
I like LECOM for the DSP and PBL curriculums, cheap tuition, and it's teach hospital and clinical opportunities.

Also it seems like LECOM has better rotation options (though may be a more stressful experience to set up).
Can anyone speak to the process of setting up audition rotations at LECOM vs PNWU? I heard that it was relatively difficult at LECOM due to "selectives."

I'm fairly motivated and feel like I would enjoy self studying instead of lecture though I wish DSP offered slides or audio lectures to study from. Side note - if I went to PNWU I would likely still self study instead of attending lecture (using lecture recordings and whatnot).

I know this is a largely personal decision but because I like both schools for very different reasons I'm having a very difficult time deciding. Can any current students (or anyone really) weigh in?

I'd especially love some input from students in LECOM's PBL or DSP curriculum.

Thanks everyone! 🙂
