Lecom Interview
Started by Future Dentist2
It is a group interview. Don't be too powerful, but don't be too quiet either. Let other people speak but make sure you get your turn.
Check out the interview feedback forum on this website (for any school) the interview questions are pretty standard. Why dentistry, what are your strengths/weaknesses/ what do you like to do for fun etc. They also asked me why LECOM, and they asked for some pros and cons about the PBL system, so make sure you read the pdf that was attached to their email.
good luck!

^where did you hear this?
i'm assuming that since they're interviewing for another 2 months, they're giving more people a shot and there are a decent amount of spots left?

What is meant by 100 acceptances being sent out means that 100 acceptances were sent out on Dec. 1... not everyone is going to accept the offer... therefore, opening a lot more seats up. Also, deposits do not mean it's official... they may turn down the offer once they get into better and more established schools, for instance.

I recently had an interview there and was told that there are still lots of seats open! Don't give up hope!

When was that?
from what i've read in other posts, no
Yes you can receive an interview with pending prerequisite courses. I had my interview in August and completed my last courses during the fall semester. I sent multiple transcripts to them, all of which weren't received. Judging by the experience others have had with them I wouldn't be surprised they misplaced them, so make sure you follow up a few days after sending your transcripts to make sure they have them. I even called the second time I sent them to make sure I had the right address. Good luck.
Does anyone know how many seats are available??..it looks like a lot of people are offered alternative position...is lecom first preference for everyone here?
