u mean Travis Stork? He was on ABC's the Bachelor season 8 (2006). unfortunately the romance didn't last long.
LOL, you right, he was on the bachelor.
You'll get hooked! Be careful! 😀
I didn't have anything to do, so I watched all the episodes yesterday that was online on NBC. By the way, the Hungarian wedding episode was very funny to me, especially when they asked the pregnant woman which month she is in, she said 6 not as they translated around 8. I speak Hungarian, so it was a funny episode to me.
Hi Mota,
Guess we are in the same boat. Got my letter today about the "alternate list". Although Im sure my economics are not like yours.....I have no family....my economics are not great...but that being said....I am actually glad I got the alt letter. My MCAT was really low and I am sure that is why I got the alt letter. I have a Ph.D., I postdocked with a future nobel laureate physician scientist......but my MCAT was low. So what do I think? I think I am going to re-take my MCAT, possibly in March or April.....I never even studied problems last time, I just took it without studying properly. So hopefully I kick its ass, and get into ALOT better schools then I would now. If I get an acceptance letter I will wait to see how my MCAT is, and if I do that much better, see if I can defer admission and just re-apply...if I don't do that much better....just accept wherever I might get into. I will start studying for my MCAT after my VCOM interview. Even if I get into NYCOM.....I may not go. I feel like I can do better. Yeah I spent and lost 1000s of dollars but.....oh well....atleast I have no wife and kids or girlfriend. 😀 I really would have liked to have applied to UNT and NOVA but my MCAT just wasnt good enough, same with LECOM-B.....I also think I might have a better chance at Texas State schools if I can do better on my MCAT. I owe it to myself. My experience at DCOM and being put on the alt list......convinced me I need to re-apply next year. I am wondering if I get into a DCOM, VCOM or NYCOM if I can defer acceptance. I am just happy I have my jobs as a professor.
I am sorry to hear that. Good luck with your application, and prey about it. God will let you know where you should go, and what you should do.

I have some questions for those who recently interviewed.
1) I read through the entire LMU interview feedback page and many people were asked a variety of ethical questions, which is something I didn't experience at my other interviews. I certainly expect it, but just wanted to know how many people from the recent interview group were asked ethics related questions?
2) I booked my hotel last week and will be staying at the Cumberland Gap Inn. Originally, I wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn because of the shuttle service, but there was no vacancy for this Monday. Is there an event going on this upcoming week, or is it normal for rooms to be sold out during the interview season?
Thanks for your help everyone. I really want to come here. My mcat isn't the best though, and I feel like this will only get me on the waitlist spot, but I won't lose my confidence either way.
Edit: I forgot to add something. I spoke to someone at LMU in August, regarding my mcat score. English is my second language and I got a 10 on Verbal, but Physics has been killing me and I haven't been able to raise that score. The lady that I spoke to, told me that LMU feels that the verbal score is more representative of how well the student will be able to handle medical school classes. Does anyone else feel this way?? Physical sciences section has been my weakest; both physics and general chem. are not my best subjects, although I did well in my undergraduate courses. It drives me insane because both of those are not even courses that you will need to take in Med school. Bio and organic chem however, I love to study and always do well on. I wish the admissions committee would just realize how much I want this and how well I will perform in med shcool, and that the physical sciences score is not an accurate representation of my abilities.
1., I didn't get any, but I talked a lot, so most of my questions were follow up questions. I heard pretty much either they ask you an ethical question or ask you what ethical situation you were in.
2., I stayed at Cumberland, the morning view is great. The hotel is ok, I did not sleep much anyway.
Yes, when i was interviewing the Holiday Inn was booked also, because of some event, so it is common to be booked.
I don't know about the MCAT score, there are a lot of people got accepted who has low scores (including myself), and they told us scores the 6th thing they look at.
I personally hated verbal, first Mcat try it was my highest score, second time it was the lowest, for me verbal depends on what passages I get.
