We are similar, at least in that regard. I have an interview with Auburn and I did one with Tuskegee but I was waitlisted for interview at Tennessee. When I did apply to LMU my previous cycle in 2019 I was waitlisted after interviewing so we never really know! But congrats on your acceptance! You’re going to be a doctor no matter what!
 
I def should not be stalking sdn at this hour. After reading through the past forums, it appears that if you interviewed oct-dec and didn’t get an acceptance in December, you were either waitlisted or rejected. I really hope that this isn’t the case 😭

I wouldn’t say that’s the case. I asked another person last year and there’s people in the class who got in that were notified in February. It wouldn’t be fair to grant majority of the acceptances without reviewing the whole applicant pool. Just don’t lose hope 🙂

I noticed this as well. But then on the fb page I saw some people that got accepted in feb that interviewed earlier and also looking at the past thread it seemed more people on SDN received acceptances. So either a lot of the people who were accepted already aren’t on social media this cycle, or they aren’t accepting as many in December and doing more than usual in Feb.

I think they would have to accept at least some less in December this cycle to account for the remaining OOS interview date?

A couple of other thoughts I have -
1. I thoroughly appreciate everyone's creeping abilities
2. It def depends on how many of the early acceptances actually take their seats
3. It seems like there is decent movement on the OOS waitlist each year - while of course we all want to know sooner rather than later, an acceptance is an acceptance!

Does anyone that have interviewed have any tips or can you discuss how the day went? I’m curious because my email was formatted like it would be most of the day.

Do orientation is in the morning and It last for about 30 min/ an hour! Then you log off the zoom and you log back on when it’s your set interview time!
 
hey guys! Just wanted to say my friend got an interview! They were saying they needed to add a professional photo and were unsure if they have to take a newer one their current one it isn’t that high quality (pretty sure it’s scan) and has some specks of of stuff on it because of that. They can’t really take a new photo as they recently broke their nose playing soccer and we both agreed that having a black eye and broken nose wouldn’t make the best of portraits but they’re hesitant on sending the old photo in. Any thoughts on what they use the photo for??

And congrats to everybody! i’m so proud of y’all for even making it this far, regardless of what happened!

MSU student here. The photo is just so they know ahead of time what you look like prior to the interview. I am assuming this is in place to make sure the correct person is interviewing at the correct time. I wouldn't overly stress about this.
 
Correct me if I’m wrong… but I don’t think anyone that interviewed in the Dec. date received acceptance yet, correct? Just trying to reassure myself so I don’t go crazy until Feb. lol

I believe I saw one person on the Facebook group page that received an acceptance, and she interviewed on the 3rd.

I'm not sure! But please hang in there lol we all have to find ways to not go crazy over these next few months 🙂

Thank you so much! That`s what I was telling them but I think they just wanted confirmation from a source other than me as I just keep on saying to not think so much into things and that is exactly what they do lmao.
 
so are we thinking that if you were a Dec 3 interviewee and didn't get a call that it's a rejection? or are we still in limbo?
 
When is the rest of the decisions coming out? I know on the website it says Feb 25th but I swear in the orientation they said the beginning of Feb

Hmmmm I can't remember what they said in the orientation, but one of their emails said "by late February". Last year it was mid-February so I'm hoping it will be before 2/25!:shrug:

Has anyone who interviewed in December receive their shirt in the mail yet? The admission office said it would be delayed due to the holidays!

I just called. You do not need to send in transcripts yet. They will let you know when or if you do!

How does everyone feel their interview went for those that interviewed on Friday? I think mine went well I’m just anxiously waiting to see if I get the call!
 
Has anyone else heard anything? Last year they called IS and WV contract seats all on the same day.
