I bet mine is one too... My lame university said it would take 48 hrs to process my transcript request..that means it probably didn't get in the mail till Friday.. Blah.. Definitely gonna email her tomorrow.
 
Sure wish everyone had done this a whole lot sooner, but I've been there too. Really hoping for one of the 60 OOS slots...

yea it's a bummer, but you can only request transcripts while the records office is open... They get a Christmas break too at my university so as soon as they were there, my transcript request was in!!
 
I had requested my transcripts during finals to be sent when grades were posted and I didn't receive them until Monday the 7th. I'm surprised some schools have the deadline as Jan 15, because that's pushing it for mine and I wasn't slacking.

I agree!! We were told that our degrees would not be posted until January 11th lol

Same here. Grades were posted the 4th and then there were problems with the system so my transcript didn't get sent out until the 10th. And I set up my request before break to be sent out with fall grades, too.
 
I emailed Kathy and she responded within 10 minutes!!! My application is complete!!!!! Yaaaay!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!! 😀 😍

When I spoke to her this afternoon, she said they were still waiting on around 70 transcripts, so calm that excitement a bit, you've still got a bit of a wait.

However, Kathy's basically my favorite person of the afternoon for her "there are fireworks going off!" excitement about my file being complete.
 
Weird! I never thought about you students still taking classes! I guess that's what happens when you graduate; you get old and forgetful. Oh how only 3 years changes you!
 
Anyone heard from Kathy today? Curious as to how many transcripts they are still waiting on.. The OOS applicants got their decisions the 26th/27th ... (A week from tomorrow) 😱
 
I swear the waiting is going to drive me mad. Mad I say!
 
I'm in a stage of excited anxiousness lol Im thinking late next week or early the week after we will know. I'm praaaaying the mailbox at the school is overflowing with transcripts lol

Just emailed her to find out for you...she said 30 people left with either GRE or transcripts...GAHHHHHH I'M SO NERVOUS!

Hm, I didn't realize GRE's weren't taken into account before they offer an interview. Though I think I remember that they only count for like 5% of your score at Mizzou.

Hmm maybe they let you send in initial scores then you have time to retake and continue to send scores in. The website says they do factor it in to the academic evaluation at 4%....

Not happy about letters being mailed out the old fashioned way. It means you will all get your letters a day earlier than the time it takes for my ambiguous letter to arrive on the west coast...

So if everyone could not open their letter until everyone on here gets theirs, that would be super! =)

...haha yeah right...

Where did you hear we're only getting paper letters? I am...not okay with that.

Well that's kind of awful. Not only does the mail go to my home address and not to me at school, but we're in the process of moving so my parents won't even be at that house most of the time. 😱 This is going to be a terrible wait, isn't it.
 
Well maybe they won't be mailed this year. No reason to spin rumors out of control! Haha everyone take the weekend off from being crazy about this (myself included) and we will reconvene on Monday with all sorts of more theories and the updated countdown to deciding our collective future. But until then, do whatever it is you do to relax.

I will be watching football and watching American Horror Story until I'm too afraid to go to sleep!

This. Uggggh. I have seriously put thought into pulling my other app and moving to Missouri to get residency and apply again if I don't get in this cycle. I just don't want to go anywhere else :laugh:..... For real though.

Don't get sick today, no mail bc of MLK day. 😉 The school is also closed today so the earliest they will go in the mail is tomorrow.. So they won't hit mailboxes until Thurs/Fri possibly later depending on distance... But I don't think that will be the case unless they got all transcripts/ test scores in by Friday.

At my interview they said we should know by Feb 1 which is next Friday.. I've got a feeling it's gonna be next week when we find out. Just my 2 cents.
 
I'm sure there will be more than a few that got caught up in the holiday mail delay, and will be there tomorrow. Then by the time everything is processed and prepped for mail and delivery time... I wouldn't be too hopeful for this week ladies (I would say gentlemen, but I think I might be the only guy on this page...). Next week!!

And as an update, I did the worse job ever of trying to keep my mind off of Mizzou this weekend. I'm sure you all did too. But when I was watching SportsCenter and it switched over to Mizzou vs. U. of Florida basketball I took it as a sign that a mental vacation from this process was impossible.

I saw someone in a Mizzou sweatshirt in the airport on my way back to school on Sunday. Definitely impossible to not think about it...:laugh:
 
I was definitely thinking about it.

I have this awful scenario in my head where I'm going to get rejected from Mizzou right before my IS interview on Friday, and then, I'm going to bomb my interview there. I definitely need to stop thinking about it :laugh:
 
I'm so nervous! I just want to know, good or bad. Come on Kathy!
