You're supposed to be looking out for the village as a whole. If your dying means killing one of the wolves, you sacrifice yourself for the good of the village. You don't even know for sure that you'd be killed. This game is not about looking out for #1.

edit: especially this early in the game. if we didn't have this many players left I would understand not wanting to sacrifice yourself to maintain village numbers, but right now I think it would be a good sacrifice.

You're supposed to be looking out for the village as a whole. If your dying means killing one of the wolves, you sacrifice yourself for the good of the village. You don't even know for sure that you'd be killed. This game is not about looking out for #1.

I'm not, but I can also help a lot more if I'm alive. I'm looking out for everyone, myself included. Without giving too many details, if you are confident enough that pickles is not a wolf, then you should trust who she lynches.

I don't for sure. I just had a gut feeling. It was only D1, so I didn't have a lot to go on, but I had to pick someone to trust. I chose pickles. If you have a good feeling about pickles too, then trust who she lynches.

Based on what M-numbers has been saying, he's not going to give up much more information, supposedly because he may be wolf killed if he does and also supposedly because his being alive is more helpful to the village than his being dead. Pickles said she will be gone for much of the day. So I'm not sure if you're going to get the type of response you're looking for in a timely fashion. Whatever's going on is weird and I don't like it.

These are possibilities but not necessarily true. MPM could have been a mason with someone else or a lover with someone else and either role could explain the "co-dependent buddy" referenced in the n1 writeup, but it could also mean neither. I only say this because we have been thrown some weird things this game, such as our lynchee from last night did not die, and Ski died instead because she was a sacrifice or something, "destined to take his own life rather than spend any more time in this cruel, useless world." I've never experienced the lover role myself, so I can't say for sure that Coffee is correct in that MPM's potential counterpart will soon die. She might have just thrown in the mason/lover info to throw us off track. Or not. Can't say for sure.

I don't know what to make of the transmission either.

If this is similar to the board game versions of WW, then cupid chooses people to be lovers and those lovers win the game if they survive until the end (if this happens, Cupid also wins, whether the person is alive or not). However, if one lover dies then the counterpart normally immediately dies. However, they may stray from the cupid concept (may have made them lovers themselves?) Or the immediate death thing. Both deviations from the "normal" gameplay in which they're used seems fair. Mainly because that can put a nice twist on things, at least while we are

Although I'd hate to waste a night, if this lynch went wrong then I think it'd be fairly easy to pick who would be the tops ones to consider lynching for D3.

That's okay!! I'm going off of 2 hours sleep, totally understand.. I was actually following and was like "WOW... the thought that went into this!" But then kept coming back to that while I was typing up my response.. the way pickles casted her lynch vote is definitely weird, I'll agree with you on that. I'm hoping some more things come up before the end of D2.

First impressions: pickles is by far the most consistently sketchy player to me, I'll go collect some quotes and explain why. M935 seems like a big personality to me, I understand why some actions/posts are coming off as sketchy to some people but I'm not there yet. Also can we talk about how he hinted at a night power and didn't die?!?!? And us not lynching the person we were trying to? It would be tempting to lynch killer again and see what happens and maybe give us a better understanding of what exactly is going on with the abilities here...

I'm not trying to pressure anyone into doing anything. I am being fully up front. I trusted pickles because I had to pick someone, and she seemed the least sketch to me. I'm not saying you should just trust me, but I am saying that if you don't have a bad feeling about pickles, you should trust who she lynches. But if you don't feel good about it, don't do it. I'm not guaranteeing anything because I can't.

Edit: I made something that I gave to pickles that could let her know if someone was definitely a wolf, but there's a chance she is still lying. Hence me not being 100%.

I may be naive, but I'm beginning to seriously doubt there is a head-hunter in here. So, for pickles to *randomly* pick someone seems pretty unlikely. Especially with M-numbers backing her up... which I think would be an obvious give-away for noob players who don't have well adapted survival mechanisms for this game. Because of that, we can be seen as really honest (maybe to the point of a fault where a wolf would want to kill) or being able to get away with wolf behavior based on noobness.
I'm going to hope M-numbers is trustworthy and just exhibits fellow noob behavior. If not, I think it'd be REALLY risky for pickles and him to attempt to get away with this. As for M not being killed despite his claim in D1, since we have senior players here... I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit more leniency because this is a noob game... since in other games noobs get killed off fairly early, this may be a way to not automatically pick off the one who claimed a power.

I don't think a noob would think of that (maybe they would who knows), but did his manator give him this as a cover? that's what i'm questioning right now.

grebes has been weird since yesterday and seems to have lynch voted for me out of retaliation for 1) trying to lynch her yesterday 2) something she claims is meta analysis but we've played literally one game together so I don't really think she can reliably come up with that

Coffee? as well because her and grebes seem to potentially be working together. Coffee tried vouching for grebes when she said that grebes had been her wolf pup and thus she was fairly confident grebes is not a wolf.

pickles too I guess because of today's comments and lynch vote. supposedly m935 gave her an item that would (presumably) seer a person so that she could ascertain whether they are a wolf. if that's true, she's saying she picked beagle to seer and has determined that they are a wolf, or that their affiliation is otherwise non-villager. what are the chances that pickles picked a random person to seer and found a wolf? I am thinking pretty low.

Sheltermed. She has been offering reasoning and thinking out loud about how posters are interacting on this thread. She seems to be actively searching for wolves and has contrbuted many posts to this thread. Lots of conversation between Shelter and M935.

Coffee? She posted a vague comment about mypetmoose based on “a certain posting style” that she noticed in a previous WW game. The comment was vague and did not offer additional detail. It sounded as if Coffee? was thinking out loud. Did the wolves want mypet killed on N1 so that it would appear as if Coffee was trying to get a villager killed, and Coffee? was framed, or was it just another weird twist added by the mods to confuse us in this game? Coffee seems to be actively searching for wolves.

Mypetmoose. Sat on her initial lynch vote for emlady for most of D1 and then switched her vote to grebes near the end of D1. Then, she is killed on N1. Mods identified her as a “villager with a co-dependent buddy” and as a “lover” (and not as a “mason”) at the end of the N1 write-up. With the exception of a few general comments, no one was going hard on mypet on D1. Does that mean that mypet’s “co-dependent buddy” and “lover” is also a confirmed villager? Or can a co-dependent buddy and lover be a wolf (and not a villager) in the game?

ziggyand jazzy. I don’t know if Deck 8 has anything to do with anyone in this game. If M395 has a power that would be useful for the wolves to destroy, it seems feasible that the wolves would want to kill M395. Just don’t know.

Killerleaf. I am baffled that she wasn’t killed on D1 since she was in the lead with 7 lynch votes. Why was she spared and not killed? This is confusing to me. @killerleaf are you able to say anything about D1?

Pickle. Sounds as if she has a post restriction, or has received some type of secret code question or signal from a player, or has been instructed to act in a certain manner by identifying herself as Buddy the Elf. Her question “what’s your favorite color?” seems to have some type of special significance to Coffee? and/or M935. It sounded as if pickle is communicating info about Beagle to Coffee? and/or M935. Leaning neutral on pickle right now - BUT noticing that others have responded to pickle’s posts, (e.g., mutt, Coffee? and M935) and these responses have elicited a series of lynch votes against Beagle from Coffee? and M935 (and the latter claimed to be waiting for some type of secret “response”).

Pickle, Coffee? and M935. Have already cast lynch votes against Beagle, following some posts between pickle “Buddy the Elf” and others on D2. Will be curious if they keep their lynch votes on Beagle because if they still want to lynch Beagle at the end of D2, it would appear as if they have reliable information that Beagle was a wolf *if* Beagle is a wolf in this game.

@Beagle-Brigade. Based on the above, I'd like to hear more from you.

I'm not feeling strongly about anyone right now ... still thinking about everything.

Also, I revealed that extremely early before getting yelled at by my manator if you follow the beginning of the thread. It's not likely that I was thinking of a cover that early and revealed it by mistake.
