Do you guys think it's too late to apply to programs? I changed my mind and would actually like to pursue an AEGD.

I don't think so if you are able to get your references in quickly. This year everything seems to be significantly delayed.

No, I didn't. I emailed twice for confirmation, but I'm sure she's swamped so never got a reply back. I just certified my secondary app when I mailed it so I could track it. Sent it out Sept 19 and arrived Sept 21, according to USPS.

I agree, the UTHSCSA stipend issue is concerning so hopefully we will get some clarification in the interview. I'm in a unique position where im a practicing dentist so Ive been saving up most of my paychecks just in case for residency and for my wedding next year, so I can choose a program based on experience.

Free endo so all the residents become "good" and "fast" at endo. Everyone loves the director. You get a day off after being on call. Every resident waits for the last person to finish before going home. Very limited assistants aka not 4 handed dentistry. 10-12 patients a day.
