Same thing happened to me. First an email about buckeyemail, then I got the call and was accepted a few hours later! So most likely it's good news for y'all that are getting emails

I saw that too! But hey don’t stress - why would they want you to create an email unless you were accepted? Otherwise they’d just send everything to your generic email like they do now 🙂 good luck guys! Fingers crossed for all of you!

Ive called admissions 12 times no ones answering I think they close at 4:30 (although i've been calling since about 4)

Someone on FB said “IT said that admissions is gonna send out some information today or pretty soon (doesn’t know if it’s decisions or not) so to just set up the email because they’ll be sending it to the buckeye email address. but he said it seems like everyone got this email”

If you already have an OSU email, you likely wouldn't get the email. Are most of you IS people Ohio State undergrads? that would explain it

According to google their hours are 8-5. I saw on FB Someone said they’re planning to send out another email with further information? Because it‘s nerve wracking that they emailed a bunch of people and they’ll be out of office soon!

I didn't receive an email and I'm OOS, interviewed Jan 25th. During that weekend they mentioned most decisions would not be out until late feb.

I meant that I didn't get one so I wasn't sure if I still had a chance. If only January 25th interviewees were emailed then maybe it was part of their early acceptance. Or if there acceptances are in waves. Basically, I was just wondering if I still had a chance haha

Don’t give up hope! I don’t believe it was all the admissions, someone called the IT dept and they said that admissions would send out more info soon, and made it sound like it wasn’t all the acceptances. And no in state students got anything yet so I would say this isn’t everything yet!
