I’m trying to understand the bold here. Could you clarify? Because vissy wasn’t in contention for D1 until WZ swapped away from Woxy to her, and the disintegration of the Woxy wagon was largely village driven? So i’m trying to understand your thought process.
Looking at the thread I’m now feeling pretty bad at genny. And I know I NEED to learn my lesson about shouting at the conventional wisdom here, but the main thing I thought to check was who was around at vote close and…
4:49am night close, no one is reacting to anything as far as I can tell an it’s just samac laying out her reads
5:01 genny shows up to throw some sus at fluff who I in my potentially biased eyes seems very village to me.
Also if we’re going with my initial assumption that vis and sporty are top candidates, I kinda think they might reconsider after seeing samac put them at the top of her wolf reads, wouldn’t hurt to nk am, cray, or true instead who are all pretty village cleared at this point by their woxy enthusiasm and also have experience and the ability to sway a thread.
the other thing supporting genny is their consistent participation in the alternatives to the wolf train while holding them at arms length… staying on the zenge vote and then unueeting at the last minute to not be in the final zenge tally but without joining the woxy train, and then later, engaging with my true push and bringing up valid concerns with it so as to not seem complicit, but also boosting some of my better points.

I would love an answer to this timeline @genny … what were you up to at 5:01am mt (I know this was probably 7 your time…) if you were gonna take the time to jump on an animal midwife post that gave an opportunity to start a fluff train, why not peruse samac’s dying words and drop a couple of reacts or responses?

I was pushing so hard for true (which I fully understand anyone wanting to jump on me for, I understand it was the most loud and active fight against the woxy train that happened) but all The response I got was a waffling engagement without rejection from genny who stayed on the true vote and then just steady skepticism from sportponies and a brief consideration of a tie from fluff who was early on the woxy train. I think if there was a full wolf pack playing at the time they would have been able to move on my loud push for a misyeet and turn some votes.
Alright think I’m figuring out multiquote …. Went back through and these all feel like cray trying to subtly encourage a zenge push while pocketing me and vis and maintaining the push as my push. Seems like the most wuss material in the early pages knowing that zenge and DubZ were village.

Vis entrance was just to vote for zenge without much else. Again reinforcing the zenge train without hopping on. This post also counterintuitively semi clears vis for me if cray were to flip wolf since it seems like a really clumsy way to boost your pack and I assume cray would be more careful
this Didn’t strike me as weird before because I also got bad vibes from samac’s posts at the time. But all samac was really doing was questioning my flimsy argument for zenge
I hadn’t said what is pocketing at any point and it was one of the few pieces of Lingo I did understand about the game. I guess this could be an honest mistake tho.

I think cray seems very cleared by the woxy flip bc cray was on that for a while. right now I’m assuming there are no wolves on the woxy vote. It would have made too much sense to join my true push I think.

Then AM was reluctant but joined and then Cray after voting wO2 the 1st day followed samac and AM and saying she ll never trust them again if they are wolves.

The only meta I care about is whether someone deepwolfs, powerwolfs, does neither, or does both. Everything else is a game-by-game basis involving context.
Paws is one such that does the latter. As for the former, not everyone enjoys the extremes and intense need for thread control that comes with powering. So they do neither.
I don't really want to be part of the game today right now. I might change my mind. I'm aware this is anti-village and usually I can put aside my personal feelings for the team but I can't today. I don't want a sub. I don't want mod killed. So my vote has to be somewhere. This is where it goes to sulk I guess.
I don't think in a world where a blocc requires I blocc with Samac and AM is a world where I can actually play WW anymore. I tried, I really did. But I can't.

Normal comment, I don't disagree, especially because my Village reads are the same three. A note that his village reads are basically the current 'consensus' village reads, which is a very safe route to take if wolfing.
Key takeaways:

I’m thinking about the Truey case on Woxy here and I’m finding it very hard to believe wolves would largely be inactive with little to no thread presence especially with the way the events from D1 onwards went. I get it life happens, it’s back to school, people are busy. I get it, I really do. But a clear consistent wolfy absence is just a truly irrational and impractical strategy that’s so self defeating that I think is there a point?
