Oh, ffs...seriously? The night where I use both my role and the apple is the night that I get followed/tracked by not only one, but possibly two people? 🙄 Alright I guess I'll just lay it all out there.
Yes, I have a blocking role. I have to use it or else the ability gets turned over to the wolves. It comes across as being "savagely beaten." I can explain the entire sequence of uses. First night was a crap shoot. No information and I had to use it, so I RNGed SOV. Coincidentally there was no wolf kill so my suspicions of SOV were raised right off the bat. Night 2 I used it on WS after that whole vouching fiasco and her basically offering up no defense. There was a wolf kill that night so WS gained a little credibility in my eyes however I can never be sure that every kill at night is indeed a wolf kill. Night 3 I blocked Rojo because his partnership with WS was a little weird to me. No wolf kill that night, so once again I became suspicious.( At this point in the game I am still very suspicious of him even though many of you seem to be eating out of the palm of his hand. I have voiced my frustrations with the "vouching" going on in the game and really believe that there are wolves doing some vouching. It would make sense for rojo to be one of them.) Night 4 I blocked TRH. Had been flying under the radar and I had to use it so why not. And oh! Look at that...another failed wolf kill. TRH had been on my short list of people I'm suspicious of, but some of her posts since I've been implicated lead me to believe she's a villager. Nights 5 and 6 I blocked SnS and EC respectively. No reason, really. At that point I had learned and witnessed the healing role in action and knew that if those players were important, they would most likely be healed. Probably not the best idea, but again I HAD to use my role and I figured I'd take a chance on maybe blocking a wolf rather than knowing for sure the wolves would get to use it.
Finally, last night I blocked SOV yet again to see if perhaps I could block a wolf kill again, obviously. But there was a wolf kill so SOV is ok for now. He would have really played me for a fool because I honestly wasn't that suspicious of him, I just wanted to see if I was in fact getting played so I blocked him again.
And no, there's most likely no one that can "vouch" for me unless someone seered me. This is the second game in a row that I've gotten a role which will investigate to be wolfy and will sound wolfy if explained to anyone else so I kept quiet. Which is also why I haven't been PMing anyone to get ideas for who to block. I don't have anyone who I'm looking for in this game but I'm not a wolf. Which is mostly why I voted to lynch minnerbelle that one round, because she was trying to place suspicion on FF for not having a partner in the game. I am one of the roles that does not have a partner but is not a wolf.
Oh and the stupid apple. I used it on BBeventer because I don't really believe any vouches anymore and she was on my list of suspicious people.
Whew. 😴 Please don't lynch me.
