I agree. For the year before last year (based off the class of 2027 SDN thread) it looks like they also said “late December-early January” and released OOS decisions on 12/29

North Carolina State shared that this year they had 2099 applicants as opposed to 1996 for c/o 2027. It doesn’t seem all that much to me, but that’s just the numbers from one school.
