Hey guys!

I really love the anatomy of the human body. I just found out that my school has a pathology assistant masters that will only take one and a half years - I will probably get my bachelors in three or less years, so I wouldn't be spending a lot of extra time in school.

Do you think it would be a wise decision to become a pathology assistant and get that experience and education before med school?

Would it be an advantage when applying? Disadvantage? Waste of time?

Pathologist assistant is a professional degree... this is like asking if you should become a physician assistant before applying to medical school. Why would you take a slot in a program meant to produce professionals trained to assist in path labs when you have no intention of working in that profession?
