Seems like PCOM is still reviewing people from August, have not had many interview dates due to some administrative reason, and have a ton of spots open still. I expect major movement January-May for this school. MD applicants will flood this time as well.

Hi all,

Wanted to share my timeline. Submitted application in mid-September, verified early October, secondary received October 13th, secondary submitted October 19th. I got an invitation to interview yesterday, interview date is January 11th. I am originally from CA, but have been a PA resident for two years going on three, and lived in DE four years prior to that. I did one of the postbac programs at Drexel prior to applying and also possess an M.S. Biological Science. I would attend an open house if it is feasible and if not try to get in contact with one of the admissions officers and/or staff to connect and get your name know . Other than that be patient and good luck to everyone awaiting interview invitations!

Can anyone explain to me why I am still incomplete at this school? I have everything submitted and it's claiming it's not complete yet. It stated in the email to wait 15 or so business days to process everything being received. I paid for it around mid-late November, is it possible they just hasn't processed it yet?

This happened to me last year and I didn't find out until really late that it was because I used two science faculty and an admissions counselor from undergrad as my three letters. And that last one didn't count bc she never gave me a grade. So it may be that, or it may just be the slowness of the process. I'm very familiar with the application process at PCOM so of you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Don't worry, there's hope! I remember last year, people were still getting them in February. And remember they're behind because of the Pope visit and admissions was building new interview rooms. My friend just got an interview and it was January 11 and they'll interview until April. It might help if you send a meaningful update.

Quick double check: so PCOM just wants the FINAL transcripts from our institutions correct? So no fall grades? Just everything sent in the spring.

BTW letters were mailed today I think. I heard a rumor (that is probably true) that adcom met on Tuesday and they were mailing out letters on Friday. So check your mail starting Monday!

Edit: I've actually heard a couple of different things now so don't put all your faith in getting a letter this week. It may be after break!

That's how I found out - a link appeared on my status summary page before I received the letter (I checked in the morning) and then it came in the mail later in the day!

Oh man. So you figured out your issue? That's all you need to fix to be complete?
