Where are you staying when's your interview?
I will be there on the 24th. I have an evening session I believe.
I'm at Purdue right now and really, I know the shuttle sounds kinda sketchy but it really is the easiest thing. If you're going to stay at purdue's hotel the shuttle will pick you up and drop you off right there. Students use the Lafayette Limo shuttle every day so it wouldn't be like a greyhound bus situation and it's not a limo, just a shuttle bus. The only thing that I've heard of being a problem is if your flight in is delayed and you get there too late to catch the last shuttle. Then youre kinda sol.
The purdue union - whatever is on campus (where they are holding the banquet). My interview is on the 31st.

Admissions is great and always willing to answer questions. They are pretty quick returning emails. Don't be afraid to follow up with them!
I'm interviewing on the 24th for the PM Session and will be there for the banquet as well. Flying in on Jan. 23rd evening.
The last time I interviewed we did not go outside. I wore my boots and then swapped out to my dress shoes when I got inside. There was several different outfits at the banquet, I am going to change in business casual for the banquet.

I'm interviewing on the 24th during the morning session too! It's coming up quickly... too quickly, and I am already getting nervous.

Thanks, that makes me feel so much better! I have been reading interview horror stories for the last week, about the interviewers grilling the applicants and trying to make them breakdown and cry.

It is a pretty long day, especially if you have a morning interview. I was glad to get my done and over with 🙂 I feel in love with Purdue all over again today... even with the miserably cold weather/wind 🙂
Will I be able to leave around 2 if I have an AM interview?
Definitely! The morning interviews go until 1130!i think and then there is a tour. Everything is laid back and optional.

I LOVED Purdue! I didn't really know what to expect, but it was great! All of the students and doctors were really friendly, and even those not participating in admissions would smile and say "good luck" in the halls. The students think of each other as family, which is awesome. The interview itself wasn't too bad. Both of the interviewers were really nice and tried to take some of the pressure off. The questions were tough, and like dlisted I embarrassed myself at times, but otherwise I survived. (except only getting 2 hours of sleep the night before... my plane was mega delayed and I got to the hotel at 2am!
I believe that you have to work full time for 12months straight before they consider you a resident ("you" not being you personally... But a general you). I would email the financial aid office to ask them 🙂
