Hey guys, all of the other rank list threads are from 4 or 5 years ago so I thought it was time for a new one. It's early in the season, but it would be nice to bounce ideas off of each other and offer any insight into different internal medicine residencies.

So here goes... given:

(1) Mayo Jacksonville
(2) University of Florida Gainsville
(3) Wake Forest
(4) Medical College of South Carolina
(5) USC
(6) University of Arizona

Any thoughts on any of these programs?? THANKS !!!

I think this thread is premature.

Interview at the programs and then think about ranking!

That's cool, point well taken, but for those who applied to a significant number of programs, just deciding where to interview can be a little overwhelming and there are not a lot of good resources out there to evaluate them before the actual interviews occur. Hopefully, on this thread we can share info so we can make better choices.

It's more of a figurative "rank list" than official-obviously.

Thanks for your input

In terms of say "academic reputation" as we commonly use the term "rank" around here, I'd saying most of these prograns are relatively even. I'm sure each program will have a definite different flavor - interview and see which is a better match.
